I picked half-heartedly at my food. Summer, Crystal, and Katie had randomly gathered at the Aphrodite table then went out of the mess hall, whispering to each other.
I didn't mean to follow them by accident, but I sorta by mistake almost ran into Crystal when I lef the mess hall. "Wha-oops, sorry."

Crystal whipped around, looking startled. When she noticed Xavier I swore she was blushing. "Oh...hi. Uh, what are you doing here?"

"Umm.. yea" Heather said raising an eyebrow at Crystal "You shouldn't uhh... be here.." Heather said, still raising her eyebrow at Crystal, now doing it at Xavier.

"Well," I said after an awkward silence, "C'mon, Heather, we should discuss...you know," I said, subtly trying to hint at the plan to pelt my siblings with meatloaf later.
Crystal had a sorta blank look on her face and was staring into space. "Hmmm?"
I rolled my eyes and snapped my fingers in front of Crystal's face. "Hello! Earth to insane daughter of Poseidon! Earth to insane daughter of Poseidon!"
