I wanted to face-palm myself, but didn't mainly because I had monster blood on my hands. Fern was a daughter of Hades, and saying hellhounds are stupid wouldn't go well with her at all...

Fern walked up to Ivy smiling from ear to ear head cocked to the side. "You think so, huh?" Her eyes flashed between red and their regular color. She began to... laugh? Giggle? A growl sounded behind them. "Hmmm? Hmmm?" she laughed hysterically. Hell-hounds were her family that she never had. She got hysterical when angry. Maybe there was a reason she had lived at the insaneisial....

Fern caught her boot against Jay's ankle and wrenched to knock the girl over adding a push for good measure. The daughter of Hades had lost controll of her actions, her eyes blazed red and inside she had blacked out. She approached Ivy, still laughing. She smiled at her. Meanwhile the growling in the bushes near by grew stronger.

Still not at all in controll of her actions she stumbled a bit towards the point of the sword. Her hands came up as if to stop herself but instead a black mist branched from them and the sword disinigrated. If the vapor came in contact with skin it didn't disinigrate you... not for this purpose any way. It would merely cause your flesh to burn (not literally) and sometimes blister. Finally the hell-hound popped out from behind the bushes. It was not Fang, not Saphira, not dancing death, but a different one about as big as a house. It seemed impossible that it had hid in the bushes. "Now are hell-hounds supid? You wanna say that to his face?" she laughed hysterically pointing behind the girl.
((Let this on for as long as you wish then just knock-out Fern and all will be well! ;D.......))

"For a daughter of Athena, I sure am stupid."Ivy muttered, then gasped as the sword melted in her hands. The vapor stung her skin, and she stumbled backwards. Her eyes widened as she saw the hell-hound. "Okay, only the small ones are. They're young, and inexperienced, at least, I think they are."Ivy replied.

Suddenly a fair sized rock whizzed out of a tree-top and hit fern on the head. The blade slipped a bit on Ivy's throat about enogh to make a painless cut as sharp objects do when gently rubbed against skin. The daughter of Hades stumbled backwards and fell over. She thudded on the ground and her eyes fluttered closed. Yup, the rock had done it, Fern had passed out and Ivy was no longer in danger. A dark body floated by and smiled at them.
