"I'll be back." Ari smirked, jumping out of her seat. She knew Jacob was that ridiculous waiter. She could recognize his smile anytime. She saw that chef guy pic Jacob up, so she decided to have some fun with it. "That man dumped water on my date!" She told the chef, pointing at 'Sergé'

The chef growled and said, "Ze fils de pute!" He apologized to Ari and stormed over to Jacob. He picked him up by his collar and dragged him into the kitchen to yell at him.

Ari laughed and waved as he was dragged back to the kitchen. "Ah, how I love the French." She smiled, returning back to the table.
"What is going on? First, I cannot control my words, and then you say that that poor waiter spilled water on me? You are crazy!" He pointed accusingly, quickly walking away. Ari frowned, flipping her hair.
"So much for the city of love." She muttered.

Suddenly Jacob came back out of the kitchen with a red cheek, and a black eye. He walked over to the table, and asked monotonously, "I am sorry for the inconvienence. May you want another drink?" Then suddenly, the real Sergé busted open the closet door, in his boxers. He was still woozy and fell on his face. Classy resteraunt.
(Oops I thought I didn't know English?)
(BTW, why does this remind me of one of those schemes from a sitcom?)

"I hate him!" Ari whispered, sitting down on a curb. The streets were still wet from the rain earlier. She slid the ring claycob/jacob gave her off of her finger, and was tempted to drop it into the storm drain below. But she couldn't. "I don't hate him..." She sighed.

Jacob sighed and got up. He put on his glasses to hide the redness of crying. He slowly walked out of the resturaunt. He stopped once he saw Ari sitting on the curb. He bit his lip, since he didn't know what to do. He choked up and leaned against the wall of the restuaunt.

"I wasted almost a year of my life on that jack ass." She murmured, getting up. She pulled out her phone and called Caroline. "Hey, my date ditched cause the moron crashed, and then kissed me, and now i'm here, and don't feel like walking back." Ari said in one big breath. "Ugh, I said, Olivier ditched because Jacob crashed the date and kissed me, I yelled at him, and now i'm on a frikin curb!" She raised her voice a bit. "Uh, I think the tower is on Quai Branly, and I'm like...10 to 15 feet away." Ari sighed, turning around to see Jacob leaning against the restaurant. "Nevermind Carry, I'll walk." She flipped her phone closed, not even waiting for Caroline's response.

"Ari! Wait," he said. "I'm sorry." He stopped. He didn't know what else to say. He was a jerk; plain and simple. He knew Ari would just walk away. But he had to try. He took a step towards her. "I was horrible, and I'm sorry."

I flat out told you that I had feelings for you, and you just ignored me. And then you ruin my date? What the hell is wrong with you? You owe me a year of my life back." She sighed, turning and walking off to the hotel.

Jacob tried holding onto the last tiny shred of masculenity he had by not crying. If he had, he was done. He couldn't say anything. He went over every possible route he could take in his head, but Ari wasn't simple. She was the most freaking complex girl he had ever met. And he didn't have just a little crush on her. This was the first person he'd ever cared about in that way. "Ari, I know you hate me. But I have never cared about anyone that way. But you made me. You are the first, and probably the lsat girl I've ever cared about." Jacob stood still. He grasped the slice on his arm that he made. He sighed and let the tears escape. He turned around slowly, and started to walk away.
