Up high? Shade's voice reached him across the battle. He threw up his right and felt something hit it. He fumbled and managed to grasp the object. His glasses! Terry shoved them on and blinked at Ace who was standing dumbfounded. Terry let out a small smile of relief. "You're back. I'm glad."

Terry's smile made Ace smile back. It was tiny. He looked around confused. "Yeah, but what am I-"
It happened so suddenly. Too suddenly. The earth as if angry shot up and wrapped around his arms, jerking him forward and driving the blade straight through Terry's stomach.
Ace's eyes widened. His green eyes narrowed to a tiny point as blood splattered across his cheek. He gasped, shock sending a wave through him until he just stood there blankly. He looked up slowly at Terry's face. He was speechless, unable to say a word. What was...what had just....what....

Ah...crap...He hadn't excpected for...
Terry coughed out blood, knowing the cause. The blade had peirced through his stomach. Otherwise he wouldnt have...Shit...He looked at Ace and managed a crooked smile. "Just glad you were...back...damn your mother..."
The world spun lopsided and he slid off his blade and slumped onto the ground. He stared blankly from his gray eyes...It kind of...hurt...

"Ah..."
Ace dropped his sword like it was poison. The image of Terry falling to the ground coming in shards and double images. No way...
His memories flooded back. He had hurt Shade and Caroline. He had hurt his friends. He had destroyed part of the camp. He had killed so many and Terry....What had he done?
"I....killed....hurt....I...."
He began to shake as if he was scared. He took a step back, his dilated pupils focusing into tiny points, then growing out to dilate again. "I..." He grabbed his head as if he was going crazy. The earth that had made him stab his friend sank satisfied into the ground.
What just happened? What did I...What was that? Help...

I burst through the crowd in time to see Ace drive his sword through Terry. Without thinking, I cried out, "No!" Horror shone in my eyes. Ace had possibly just killed him. Terry slid to the ground. I rushed forwards, kneeling next to Terry. "Terry, can you...can you hear me?" Crap, what was Shade going to do when he found out?

"I didn't...I did...I..." Ace stared at Caroline as if he was going crazy. He was mortified. How do you describe this feeling? It was as if he was sinking again.

Shade's voice rang across the clearing. His hazel eyes were wide with shock. He ignored Tai and raced forward as if he had shadow traveled. He dropped to his knees beside him.
"Terry...stop joking around...hey..."
He sounded like he was going to cry any second now.

Shade stood up and whirled around, the tears spilling out from the corners of his eyes. A black flame erupted from anger and fury. It coated his whole body, making his black hair fly around devilishly. His eyes flickered, and Shade's head hurt. Crap...losing control over....

Leon saw Summer go and help Jasper. He waved his arms frantically to signal her.
Brent immediatly ran inside the armory and yelled at some campers to cover him. He was going to build a bomb. A bomb that would explode and destroy 1/50 of the camp. It would severly damage the cabins and anybody around it, so a small shield veiled over all campers. He grabbed some explosives and started building......................

Terry blinked open his gray eyes. The light was fading quickly from them. It hurt all over, and he was dizzy. He noticed the situation. He reached out an caught a hold of Shade,s ankle, ignoring the fire. It didn't hurt...too late for that anyway. "Don't..."

His voice sent a shock through Shade. He blinked and his pure black eyes changed and faded to hazel. The fire around him winked out. Shade was too tired to anything more but turn around to see Terry.

"Yo..." Terry managed a small and weak smile. "Can you not kill my friend there? It wasn't really his fault. It was his damn mother.....controlli- Ow!" Terry was cut off and winced as his stomach pulsed painfully. He didn't have much time...he guessed...

But he had. He had wanted to. He felt shame send a shiver up his spine.
"Yeah..."
If that was Terry's wish... Shade knelt down as Terry tensed. He couldn't do anything...he was helpless...

I ran over to where Terry was lying. "OH MY GODS! What happened?" I dropped beside Terry. True, he was only my half brother, but we were related just the same. And, he had come when Ivy had died... First Ivy, then Terry. Why did my siblings keep dying? As far as I knew, I only had Luner and Jacob. Well, I also had Terry, but he would be dead soon, seeing his injury... I felt like crying. But I held it together.

I had been kneeling there, not wanting to ruin the delicate moment between Shade and Terry. As Rachel and Ace started talking, I glanced away from Terry. I quickly wiped away a tear. Terry had been like an older protective brother to me, though he meant much more to Shade. I smiled slightly at Ace. "No...it wasn't your fault." I wanted to scream and blame it all on Ace and just kill him, and then say that everything would be okay from then on. But the only one to blame for all of this was Gaea. It wasn't fair. nothing was fair. Why did she have to be evil? It would have been much easier if she had been on the Olympian's side...but nothing in life was that easy. Then, what would be the point of life? If there was no bad guy, there couldn't be the superhero. I guess everything had a reason for turning out the way it did...
