Iggy sat on the dock, his bare feet just above the water. His nimble fingers ran along the wood. He smoothed back his white hair and watched the clouds.

(Wow, I haven't used Caroline since her fake death...)
Caroline walked down to the lake, her shoes sending loose pebbles rolling down the rocky trail, but she didn't care. The sun shone gently on her light blonde curls. She loved the lake. Well, of course, being a daughter of Neptune and all.
She was glad to see that the shining water had returned to the dark, mysterious blue. At least it wasn't still stained red from the battle. She pushed the thought away. The battle was past news. She would just have to focus on the future.
Smiling warmly, she saw that someone else was already at the lake. She realized that she had never seen this guy before. New camper, perhaps? New campers were always good news. They had lost so many demigods to Gaea already...
Caroline sat next to the kid, smiling at him. "Hey."

Terra was out thinking and taking a walk along the edge of the lake. She was mesmerized by the relflection of the sun on the surface of the water. The past events were cracking down on her, begging her to choose. Begging her to begin to trust one of the sides. She had been kind of neutral more than a camper. She still hadn't fully trusted the camps yet.
She raised her head to see two people she didn't know. Might as well say hello...
Terra strolled over slowly.

Caroline blinked at the sound of footsteps and shifted to see a dark-haired girl walk towards them. She might have seen her a few times around, but she forgot. Smiling, she waved to her. "Hi!" Caroline called out cheerfully. Her sea-green eyes shone with curiosity at the girl's violet eyes.

Terra blinked her lavender eyes at the girl's sudden and cheerful greeting. Her startling sea green eyes made Terra suspect she was a daughter of Neptune. She stopped after approaching them and nodded in response. "Hi, I'm Terra, daughter of Ceres."

Caroline glanced up at Terra held her arm out hesitantly, not sure if she was the shaking-hands kind. "I'm Caroline, daughter of Neptune. Nice to meet you." She suddenly remembered that the boy was still sitting there.

Terra looked at the hand for a while before finally taking it. She released her hand and looked at the other boy who seemed to be staring off in the distance. No...She recognized that look. The one that Second had with his left eye. This kid was blind. She didn't say anything though. She wasn't one to wound pride.

Iggy heard the two girls. He felt embaressed that he couldn't see them or see what he was doing. He finally spoke up, "I'm Iggy....Iggy Kirkland. Son of Hephaestus."

Caroline nodded, and swung her head around to glance back at him. "Iggy. Cool name." She smiled. "So, how do you like it here so far?" She, of course, had no idea that Iggy couldn't see. "Isn't camp...pretty?" She struggled for something suitable to say.

Iggy blushed and smiled. He cleared his throat and said, "Uh.....I don't exactly know what the camp looks like....see...I'm blind." He winced as he said that last part. He hated being blind, well..who actcualy would?

Iggy shrugged. "It's okay. You didn't know." He sensed her regret. He looked into the lake water. "I'm actcually working on a pair of glasses that will somewhat help me see."

"Really? That's...that's amazing!" Caroline hoped it would actually work, but had no doubt it would. After all, Iggy was a son of Hephaestus. Or Vulcan, as she was more used to. And she had never seen a child of Vulcan/Hephaestus fail yet.

Terra sat down as they chatted, sitting down next to Caroline. "That's amazing how you can make your way around normally. I have a...friend. He's blind in one eye." She noted. "You're even more amazing, how you can navigate. I hope those glasses work."

Caroline noticed the hesitation in Terra's voice as she said 'friend', but didn't comment. She nodded in agreement with her next words. "Yeah, it would be so cool..." She trailed off into thought. It would help a lot of people if the glasses worked. It could help Terra's friend!

Terra was kind of thinking. She stared absentmindedly at the water and its reflection. Maybe she could wait until Iggy came up with something. Then she could give it to him. But... That was just wrong. And he didn't deserve it. Second was probably fuming right now to hear she was spreading around his secret.

Iggu shrugged. "Sure, why not. But, I'm not sure I'll use mine often. Not that I like being blind. But my senses are stronger because of it. If there are more than two blind kids, I'd be happy to make them a pair too!"

"Only his left." Terra informed him. "But he's really not used to it. He could see beforehand, so he's still adjusting. His reaction is really slow on the right, and it's dangerous in a fight."

Terra paused for a second, then looked at Caroline. She opened and shut her mouth for a while. Then she remembered that would make her look like a fish and stopped. She thought for a while. Why not tell them now? They would all know then. "He doesn't have a name." She said with a small smile.
