She shakes her head, trying to dislodge the memories as if theywere cobwebs in her mind. Noticing Kuro's gaze, she smiles as if to say that nothing is wrong.

Kuro finished the song and sat his guitar down calmly before he walked over to Dawn. "Hey something bothering you?" He asked not taking the smile as if something was ok.

"It's nothing." she says more firmly. She stands and walks out of the amphitheater.

Kuro knew there was something wrong and he quickly followed her.
Kiyo was about to say something when Kuro closed the door behind him. "Aw man...." He muttered as he put the drum sticks down.

She notices Kuro following her and does nothing to stop it, but nothing to encourage it either. She just moves forward, fighting the memories. One hand curls into a fist, pressing her nails into her palm, hard enough to hurt but not to break skin. The pain keeps her from breaking down and sobbing, from letting the memories flood her consciousness.

Kuro quickly cought up to her and his hand went around her clenched fist. He looked at her worriedly but said nothing.

She stops, turning to face him but not pulling her hand from his. "I'm sorry. I ruined it, and I know it. You were happy and I… I… I'm sorry."

"You didn't do anything." Kurochi said as he brushed a stray hair that was in her face behind her ear. "I'm still happy." He said smiling at her warmly.

"I don't believe you." she says, leaning against him. Her head turns to the side, one cheek pressing against his chest. The steady thump of his heartbeat fills her ears.

Kuro wrapped his free arm around her, holding her closely. "I would never lie to you... I am still happy....." He said in a soft voice, his smile growing a little.

Kuro's dark eyes turned a light blue with out him knowing. He rested his head on her's softly.

Kuro stayed quiet for a while. He was happy holding her closely. He didn't want to move at the moment.

She stays silent, softly freeing her wrist from his grasp, her arms moving around to hold Kuro to her.

(Sigh... i dont know either. i barely have any homework. the joy of being younger  ) The memories are gone for the moment, hiding just under the surface of her conciousness. She does not move. |
