(Okay, I'll make something happen that explains why they're here.)
There was a gray poof!, and out of nowhere, a piece of paper floated out of the air. I snatched it and read it. Something fell at my feet, and I picked up a bag. "Charon's bill." was what it said on the paper, and inside the bag was 20 golden drachmas.
