Getting a little pissed, she drew water from the nearest water source and blasted a dracenae right into a tree.

(heh heh) I cut the head off another hellhound, and it fell at my feet.

(*Sniffle* So sad...poor Annabeth...there've been way too many 'percy-dies-and-Annabeth's-upset' fanfictions lately...)
I blinked, finally taking in the information correctly as Witch tore apart some hellhounds.
I raised my staff and a there was a loud, screeching, high, off-pitch note that echoed around the forest. Promptly any monster within a few yards of me turned to dust.

Crystal yanked her sword out of the tree where it had gone through the dracenae.
She froze at the shriek-ing sound that came from Ally's direction. She whipped around, confused, and saw piles of monster dust a few yard radius from the daughter of Heacte in all direction.

"...I did not do that..." Witch jerked her eagle head around to look at me.
"Oh yes you did."
"No, I did not! I have no idea what that was, let alone done it!"
"If you didn't do it, who did?" Witch asked sarcastically.
"I DUNNO! But I seriously didn't do it! I think..." Witch sighed. Well, it looked like she sighed.
"Have you forgotten who your mom is already? Yes, you did do it." I paused.
"Oh right..."

Crystal: "Oh...right..."
Then she was bowled over by a hellhound because she got distracted. "Urgh! Stupid damned..." She continued with some words I'd rather not repeat in Latin, Ancient Greek, french, RUSSIAN, and every other language she could think of while also trying to stop the huge monster from ripping her to shreds.
After distracting the brute long enough to get her sword ready, Crystal stabbed its underbelly and it exploded to dust on top of her.
She stood up, looking at her torn shirt. Dammit, the darn hellhound tore the hole in her t-shirt waaay too big. Then she heard a rustling in the corner and whipped around. A dracenae did, too. A girl stepped out, looking confused, and the dracenae lunged.
"Watch out!"
Katie: Alright, how I was I supposed to know that the forest had a sudden increase in monster population? I thought these monsters weren't even allowed anymore since the Apollo Cabin incident!
Well, there I was, looking for trouble in a forest full of hydras, dragons, DRAKONS, empousi, dracenae, hellhounds, etc, etc. This kinda sucked. The instant I entered, I saw a girl with blonde hair and green eyes, who I later recognized as Crystal, yell, "Watch out!" And I whipped around to see a damn scaly green thing flying at me.
"Ohmygodshuh?" I screamed as I ducked the flying monster. It whipped around and I recognized it to be a dracenae, so I pulled out my knife. I suddenly realized that every other camper there was fighting a hoarde of monsters. Ohhh... Distracted for a moment, the dracenae hissed and lunged again. I turned, and slashed with my knife just before the thing could get me. It turned to dust.
