I nervously entered the room where the be-fangled prom was being held. I was the first one, and I didn't even have a freaking date.
A minute or so later, Katie entered, wearing a bright pink dress and twirling her hair around with a finger. When she spotted me, she walked over. "Do you have a date?" was the very first thing she asked.
I shook my head, "Nope."
Katie looked relieved. "Good. 'Cause I don't either."
(WOOT! HUNDRED MEMBERS! STILL FREAKING OUT HERE!)

Katie looked around. "Anyone else here?"
I shook my head. "As far as I know, I was the first here." I smoothed out my leaf-green dress. "I look like an idiot in this," I complained.
Katie shook her head. "No, you don't. But I got stuck in this because apprently the Aphrodite cabin didn't have anything blue."
I snickered. "Ha!"
"Shut up!"

I walked in, immediately spotted Crystal and Katie, and ran over, tripping over my dress in high heels.
"I. Hate. Your. Cabin."(lol) I said to Katie. "I mean, I can't even walk right in this dress!"

Katie rolled her eyes. "I wanted a blue dress. But they ran out so I'm stuck in this," she said. (check Katie's siggy for her dress. It's pink.)

I shook my hair, which some Aphrodite kid had done so it fell in loose curls with some lighter streaks...that glittered. You would NEVER believe how much make-up and stuff the Aphrodite Cabin had. "I got the last green dress. Actually, a week ago I called dibs on it."
"I didn't call dibs on anything...ya know, I should've," Katie mused.
I smirked at her. "Ha."
Katie changed the subject, frowning at me. "Who did your make-up?"
I stared at her. "Um, Annie, I think. Why?"
Katie grabbed my arm and dragged me into a bathroom. "She needs to learn how to apply make-up. She gave you waaaay too much lipstick, and forgot eye shadow..." While Katie contiued blabbing on, she was pulling out a make-up kit and re-doing everything. About a minute later, she dragged me back out and we stood there next to Summer again.

I don't think anyone noticed me when I entered the room. I walked up to the group of girls and tapped Crystal on the shoulder. "Hey...um, even though we're already here...I wanted to, you know, ask you earlier, but...will...you...be..mydateforthedanceeventhoughwe'realreadyhere?"

I gaped at the scene, then started squealing and jumping up and down. "OMG Crystal! This is soooo romantic!" I stopped after a moment. "Ew, I sound like an Aphrodite girl. No offense, Katie." I said quickly.

I nodded. "This way, happy couple." I looped my left arm through Crystal's right arm, and my right arm through Xavier's left arm and led them to the middle of the floor.

Mia came up behind Ivy here in her black and zebra print dress. "Hiya." She knew no guy would ask her to the dance, but, you know, who cares. No dude ever liked her in the past, she was certin no dude would like her now.

Dakota stood at the entrance to the prom and before walking in, she pulled out her Compact Mirror and looked at herself one more time, she took hours on her makeup and hair and was pretty pleased with herself. She dabbed herself with a little foundation before walking into prom. To her surprise, there wasn't that many people here yet, she must have been early instead of late, like she thought. She was kind of embaressed to be going to prom without a date, but she would have to get over it.
