I laughed as we ran to the beach and stopped. I plopped on the sand and made a sand angel.

Dakota was already at the beach, in the sand, half-buried. "Hey Guys!" she said waving at them.

Dani rolled her eyes and smiled at Codi, the image of her half-buried in the sand causing her to let out a small laugh. "Gods, why am I not surprised?" she said.

"You're not surprised because you know this is a wonderful idea." Dakota spread her arms out and put more sand on her legs. "I feel like a mermaid," she said laying back in the sand with a big smile on her face.

I stood up, finished with the sand angel. I shook the sand out of my hair and looked at Codi, "Hi. I don't think we've met. I'm Jayday, who are you?" I smiled
