Yep...long story. I shortened it from a billion paragraphs to this many:
I went outside to clean my rabbits' cage, my little annoying sister, Melinda, tagging along. She forgot to close the cage when I put the collar around Snowcrystal, which was attached to a chain, that was attached to a plastic stake-like thing that I drove into the ground, so my other rabbit, Icedust, ran out and into the forest behind my house. "You idiot!" I screamed at Melinda while running around the front ways to get to Icedust. I found it nibbling on some grass, and I slowly moved towards it. "C'mon, Icedust...c'mere."
"Hey, Emmy!" Icedust bolted and nearly facepalmed myself, but considering my hands were covered with bunny fur, I decided against that. I turned around, annoyed. "What, Melinda?" I snapped, exasperated
My little sister was with my dad. "We're gonna catch Icedust," she exclaimed happily.
I raised my eyebrows. "Really? Because I almost had her-him, whichever it is, but then you came up!" I snapped.
My dad opened his mouth to say something, but I said, "Blah, blah, blah, I'm rude. I get it. Now help me get that crazy little rabbit." I ran after the bunny, which had gone up the really steep hill by some guy watering his plants with a hose. He gave me a weird look that I ignored. But, just my luck, about half-an-hour of chasing only resulted in my dad scaring it back into the forest behind the townhouses.
"Icedust," I sing-songed, clapping my hands, "come on ou-out!"
"Icedust!" Melinda repeated. I heard scurrying, but no little fluffy white bunny showed up. This went on for awhile, so in the end my dad walked into the forest reserve thing and scared Icedust out.
Icedust paused at the edge of the hill and I bent down, stroking its fur. After the rabbit had visibly relaxed, I grabbed it by the ears and neck fur. Icedust tried to claw me a couple times but eventually relaxed a bit, (meaning, now tried to bite me instead) as I carried the wriggling bundle back to my backyard.
And that lasted an entire hour.
Well, I certainly got my exercise!
