I ran though the woods with a knife, looking everywhere for a stupid moster to kill. I stopped. There. A monster. We fought feircly, finally I stabbed it in the neck and it poofed into gold dust. I sighed in relief that I killed it.

Fern blinked. "So, what's this about it being it being fun to kill hell-hounds?" she drummed her fingers on her now crossed arms. She didn't say it in a way that would give away her love for the creatures and possibly the secret that was her power, just curiousely.
