I take the skittles and open the package and eat a few. I pat the dogs head slowly. "thanks." I whisper.

He looks up at Ryan, wagging his tail. If a dog could smile, that would be Shade now.
Dawn walks over, following her dog. "He's all bark, no bite." A hint of a smile plays on the ends of her mouth.

"I, uh, found Shade in a park, lost. I put up lost dog signs and stuff, but..." She gestures to the dog, saying 'He's still here.' with her body language. She lies as well. Apollo had given him to her, indirectly, of course. Through her mother. With a note.
Shade presses his nose into Deny's hand, sniffing.

"Thank you." She said, then looking to Ryan alittle confused What did he need a pump for? She thought, then he said it was for skateboarding but she got the feeling he wasn't telling the whole truth "Maybe you could show us a few tricks?" She asked him, with dark green eyes.

I hear a faint bark. "that's Spark. I'll get get my skateboard from him. Be right back." I turn and dash through the trees to where Spark was standing and panting with my skateboard next to him. My pump was on the skateboard and I sighed in relief. I pick the pump up and turn it on.
