I found the perfect shade of blue and painted the vase slowly. "Hey, how come it's all dull?" I frowned.

I replied, "It gets brighter once you put it in the kiln again. But it will be brighter if you put on more coats of the glaze." The kiln dinged and I cautiously looked in. The vase looked almost completely perfect. I found the perfect shade of purple. I sat next to Lorelei and began glazing my vase.
(The shade of purple is the color of my prom dress.)

I shrugged and started glazing it even more. I hate pottery.

After I finished glazing-I had to put on 10 coats of glaze!-I put it back into the kiln.

I glanced over at Rachel and followed her example. I put my vase in the kiln next to hers.

I waited for a couple minutes, then took my vase out. It looked pretty good.
