Zack held the soccer ball. This time he knew how to use the shoes he got. The nice pair on the grass as he wore his old ones to play the ground sport. Jogging through the grass he set the ball in the center of the field before kicking it, dribbling down court he thought of Germany. Of how everybody, boys and girls, played against each other in the competitive sport.
Faking he spun around. Moving now in the opposite direction before bringing his foot to the ground and kicking the ball. The black and lime green sphere flying through the air as it hit something far off. Cursing silently he picked up his new shoes and swaped which ones he was wearing.
After a few minutes he hit the sky. His brown eyes scanning the ground for his soccer ball. So Zack was feeling abit agitated. This new camp was strange, and a bit tiring. He constantly had to translate everything, and every night he went to bed muttering to himself about how unfair a small vacation to California turned out to be a long stay in a American camp. Sure it was nice, the Americans were kind. He was fond of some people, one slightly more than the others. But that didn't mean he was planning on staying. The German wanted his home, he wanted out. And so far the gods were trapping him in a mind straining camp of half-bloods.

He had found a tree far off into the feild to read in. No one was there. It was quiet, and there was wind and sun. But he was in the shade. Okay, so he wasn't enjoying the sun and fresh air. He just wasn't a big fan of sports. He looked like a bookworm, a tall nerd. He was thing, but not weak. He was often underestimated. He was solid and strong. Just not as strong as the rest. But strong enough. Adding that to his skills made him an excellent fighter, not to be messed with, but always messed with.
He heard a loud thump near him. He was engrossed in War and Peace. He dropped it, losing his page and feeling alarmed by the sudden sound. His staff was out in an instant, flashing brilliant gold as he stepped away from the tree he was leaning on. Terry blinked. A soccer ball?
He felt like hitting himself. He was frightened by a soccer ball. He took out his staff to defend in a completely safe camp for half bloods for a soccer ball. Stupid. He was getting dumber by the second. Maybe he needed to go home and plop down with some....He had no home. What was he thinking? Who was he kidding?
Terry pushed aside the annoying thought and walked over, picking up the ball. Now where was the owner...?

"I realize." He said without bothering to lift his head. He might catch the sun through his glasses and hurt his eyes. He wasn't surprised that a son of Hermes was flying. Must be shoes from his father. He knew he would hear a voice eventually anyway. "You can have it back." He tossed it to the other demigod as he landed.

"So do you play?" he asked hopefully. Maybe he won't be kicking the ball around bored.

"I try." He replied, uncomfortable. He was always looked at as a nerd. So he was never asked t play. But he was good at athletics. He could kick the ball. He could aim. That was pretty much it.
He spun his staff and it folded on itself, shimmering and disappearing into thin air. He probably looked stupid for having it out. He went over and picked up his book, dusting it off and setting it down. He turned to face Zack.
"Gonna kick it or not?"

"Well, maybe we should first get to a clearing...." he said looking at a tree.

He shrugged and walked out into the sun, his black hair soaking in the sun. Well, it was mild weather. If it was hot it would have bothered him

He nodded, concentrating as the ball saile through the air. He ran, sliding at the last moment to a stop in front of the ball. He kicked it full strength back t Zack, forcing it to fly back at full speed.

Letting it hit him he then quickly kicked it into the air above him. Then with one quick movement back to Terry [srry gtg]

(Bye)
Terry noticed that it was high. Too high for him to kick. But it was too close for him to scoot. It would probably pass over him. Without thinking, he flipped backwards onto his hands, kicking the ball downward at Zack.

He could take his frustration out on the ball. All the thoughts he never dared to share with anyone. He hammered it with fury, kicking it with all his might. He realized, it always came back. He kicked it back. Terry was beginning to relax and enjoy this. Think. What did he have going on in his mind?
Anger. Hate. Frustration. The desire for revenge. When he had vented it all out on the ball, he realized that he still loved Dodge. That's why it hurt. That's why he hated him. That's why he was angry. Next came confusion. Why did he do it? Dodge wasn't acting like himself. Then hurt. His brother was a nimrod. Why didn't he tell him about his troubles? Terry was there to help him. Why would he hide anything from him? And then they were all gone, his emotions. And the soccer ball came back.
He let it rest at his feet. Then he smiled. He looked up at Zack and sat down. "I'm too tired to go on. I'm not an athletic type."

"Yeah...It was fun, I guess. I dint play sports a lot." He smiled. He had told himself to never smile and remember the pain to get stronger. But he had made a new friend. He could forget about Dodge. Forgive him even for now. Terry wasn't physically tired. He was mentally tired. He was done thinking. Making decisions. He shouldn't let someone else's evil actions get in his way. His personality.

Zack frowned slightly "Really why not? Your good at them!" this was coming from the obviously athletic German who was rainbowing the ball.

"I look like a nerd." It was put simply, but it was the most powerful reason no one invited him to play.

"It was good enough for them. And I never tried to join in either." Terry smiled at his own incompetence.
