Suddenly, I dropped to my knees and cowered in front of him. I pretended to act helpless. "Please...please..." I pleaded, trying to make them sound real.
He stood over me. I saw him smirk, and raise his sword. He swung. But then he stopped in the middle of his swing, and pulled back his sword. I didn't flinch. He was playing with me. I had to bite my lip to keep myself from smirking. Stupid... He started walking around me, slashing near my face, not never really touching me. He was getting cocky. Good.
Then, he actually swung. I ducked and sliced at his feet. He didn't expect me to attack back. He fell to his knees. I smiled smugly at him.
He got up and swung at me again. I dodged and sprinted to his left and sliced at his side. He barely managed to block it.
I looked closely at him and realized he was a son of Hermes. I realized I recognized him.
When he looked at me again, I could tell he remembered me too. His eyes widened. "Lorelei...?"
He didn't finish. I swung, and he dropped to the ground, a gash on his throat.
I looked down at him. His life was slowly bleeding out. He looked up at me, shock and pleading in his eyes. This time, it was him begging. "Please..."
I thrust my knife into his chest, out of pity. He stopped talking. I slid my knife back out. It was coated in blood.
Then the true meaning dawned on me. I had killed someone. Someone who was once a friend.

Krissie noticed Lorelei and turned to water-but not normal. It was a dark, thick, substance and crawled silently across the ground. As she was closing in on Lorelei Krissie suddenly sprung up, human again and sliced at the daughter of Hypnos's back.

I felt a presence creeping up on me. It sent shivers up the back of my neck. I whirled around, my knife held in a defensive position, sending my orange hair flying. Just in time, too. Someone's sword clashed with my knife. I realized that it was the same girl Caroline and Emmy had been fighting.

Krissie pulled back, not attemping to attack again. This was Lorelei Smith. The girl with, as Gaea had informed them...Krissie smirked. "Lorelei, isn't it?" she asked casually.

"Gaea keeps us all...informed," Krissie said. "Won't you join her? She get rid of your...problem you know," Krissie spoke lesuirely, even as another person screamed and was slaughtered rather brutally right behind her.

Claycob was sleeping in his cabin when he heard a ruckus. "5 more minutes..." he moaned. He covered his head with his pillow. The explosions continued. "Fine, I'm up!" He trudged to the door. "What did I miss?" he mumbled as he opened the door. "Oh."

Krissie smiled broader, but not exactly in a friendly way. "Give it up, Lorelei. If you join us-no more crazy urges to kill people or monsters. The gods could help you, but did they? No. You'd be better off not connected to them. I wonder...did you know your own father, Hypnos, stood by on Olympus and watched your mother die by the chimera?" Krissie purred seductively. "While the monster had your mom's blood on his teeth...Hypnos didn't even care?"

Claycob emediatley ripped open his chest, not caring who would see. He pulled out his crude sword he'd made earlier. His skin closed back up over the magic bowl. He had no clue what side he was on. But he didn't want anyone to die. He ran over to the Maxine girl. He checked her pulse. She was alive! And why the hell would anyone attack a freaking 7 year old? He pulled out some bandages and nectar/ambrosia from his chest-bowl. He took care of her. As he wrapped the bandages around all of her wounds, he suddenly saw Mikayla. He shook the thought away. She'd live, but it would be hard. He carried the little girl back to his cabin.

Once Claycob was done tending to Maxine, he went back out. There was an overwhelming amount of injured campers. Then he tried find Original Jacob. He tested his connection with him, and found he was far away; sleeping. Of course. But he did see someone he knew. "Lorelei!" he yelled. "What the hell are you doing out here? I told you to go get rest!"

I spun around when someone called my name. I realized it was Jacob. I felt a pang of regret for what I was going to do. He had saved me once after the darkness came... I pushed the thoughts away. I whispered, "I'm sorry, Jacob..." I said, approaching him. Then I slashed my knife at his chest.

"What the?-" as Lorelei's knife cut through Claycob's chest he yelped. His skin grew back after he pulled his sword from his chest. He held it up in defence. "It's O-OK," Claycob stammerd. "The d-darkness is ba-back. It'll l-leave in a m-minute. Just set d-down the s-sword."

I didn't question the reforming of his skin. I smiled coldly and regarded him with cold eyes. "No, Jacob. The darkness isn't back." I paused for dramatic effect. "And it never will be."
