"Well, thats only if I rush. I never can remember what I've read when i read fast. So in general I tend to be a slow reader, unless I like that book," Luner said. "There's nothing wrong with not being a super fast reader," she added with a smile.

I looked at Luner. "Well, before I came to camp, people sometimes teased me about being such a fast reader, so they must have had a problem with it." I wondered why I had told her that. I rarely told anybody about what I had been like and what had happened before I came to camp half-blood.
(I forced Summer to read walk two moons XD)

Jeremy didn't say anything but dipped his head low. It was true that no one thought he could do anything in his other school, rather than beat up a kid who tried to shove him into a locker.

A tear ran down her face and she blinked away the rest of her tears. "You ok? It doesn't matter what other people may have told you. They say all this mean shit because they need to feel better about themselves. They're the one who suck at everything, not you," she said to him, noticing he looked upset.

Luner laughed, but it sounded like there was something odd in her voice. -It's probably my imagination- she thought. "That's true. They don't suck at being bullies either. But, people are who they are. Outcasts and different people just have to keep their heads held high and block out the comments. My motto's 'Army crawl through the bushes and avoid the enemies nukes.' I looked at her. "My motto is actually one I read in the book I was just reading. You can't keep the birds of sadness from flying over your head, but you can keep them from nesting in your hair. Well, that and the other one I read in a book. But it's not really a motto, it's more of a quote. Anyway, it's from leap day by Wendy Mass. The real you is who you are when no one is watching." I wondered who I was when no one was watching, then I wondered if there ever really was a time when no one was watching me. It seemed like no matter where I was, someone was watching me, and relying on me.

Jeremy looked up, he said nothing. After a long pause he said. "Sorry to bother you all, I had something to do in the arena, Tai has asked me to practice with him. So i got to go, nice talking to you guys!" and with that he disappeared.

I smiled. "Well, a lot of different kinds actually. Mainly science fiction and realistic fiction. Mainly people like James Patterson, Suzanne Colins, and Sharon Creech. What about you?"

I smiled. "well, if you ever need something to read, check out the library over there. Seems like I'm the only one in my cabin who goes in there anyway...." I motioned(don't know how to spell that word) to the wooden door with an owl carved over it.
(just saw trailer for hunger games movie... AAAAHHHH!!!!!!)
