(if you haven't read my post in general, go read it) Ivy grabbed her sword from her cabin, and headed towards the forest. She had been so busy lately, training, keeping up with all the stuff going on in camp and who knows what else. She really needed a nice relaxing walk. Softly humming to herself, she slid her sword in it's sheath, and disappeared intot the trees.
It was nice, getting away from it all. All the confusion, and hectic life at camp. She loved camp, but at times she just needed a break. The wind rustled through her hair, blowing it into her face. She pushed it out of her eyes, and continued walking. The branches crunched under her feet as she walked. Then she made the fatal mistake. Unknown to her, she had accidently strayed slightly outside the camps protective borders. Where a monster was waiting.
Then it happened. Ivy realized she was no longer inside the borders, so she quickly headed to get back inside them. But it was already too late. A hellhound leaped out at her, snarling. Ivy turned around at the sound and tried to get her sword out. But there was no time. It landed on her, it's claws fully unsheathed. It got off, and prepared to charge again. Ivy, covered in cuts, stumbled backwards, trying to get her sword out. But her arm had been injured, and she was shaking. Ivy screamed as the hellhound leapt at her again, digging it's claws into her chest. Ivy fell backwards inside the borders, and screamed again as the hellhound raced for it. But it bounced off the border, and snarled as it tried to get in. Finally it gave up, and ran off. But the damage was done. The hellhounds claws at created several long cuts in her chest. The sword fell from her hand, and she collapsed onto the ground. Ivy lay there, gasping in pain.

(HOLY CRAP IVY!!)
Lorelei:
I was sneaking back into camp, on my mission from Gaia: Kill Jasper. I knew I couldn't do it, so why had I agreed? Who knows? I'm crazy. I think it was because I was homesick. I glanced around sadly as I crossed the border. Then I noticed a body on the border.
I couldn't resist getting closer. It was a girl. Ivy Meer. I had seen her a few times before I joined. She was wounded badly. I hesitated on whether or not to leave her to die. I couldn't. "Hello? Can you hear me?" I waved a hand in front of her face while taking a baggie of ambrosia squares out of my pocket.

(I know, I know)Ivy nodded. "Y-Yes."She waved the ambroisia squares away. "Too late."She gasped.

Lorelei
Without expecting it, tears welled up in my eyes, and I put the bag away. "I'm so sorry, Ivy."

Shade turned at the screaming sound. He happened to be on a walk. Racing. He found his feet flying. Had something happened? Who was it? Was it an attack? Faster! Shade reached the top of the hill. He spotted a girl lying in the grass. Red blood explained the screams. Shade recognized Lorelei instantly though. A soldier of Gaea. Was there really an attack? Had she killed the Greek? Shade jumped down the hill and landed in front of them. His swords floated in the air beside him in their sheathes as he called out for them. "Ignite and roar!" He snatched both from their black sheathes. Their blades ignited with a loud crackling black flame. "What's going on?! Did you..." He stopped, realizing her cuts weren't from a sword. They were scratches from a hellhound...

Lorelei
I looked up at Shade. "No, she was like this when I found her. I swear, I didn't kill her. Even if I did, I wouldn't leave her body here to be wasted."

Shade stared at her for a long time before bending down next to Ivy, his swords were still in hand in case she tried anything funny. He knew it was too late for this girl. He would have to notify the camp. Another death. He would deal with the intruder later.

Lorelei
I watched them for another moment, then turned. I started going more into the center of the forest.

Shade looked up, noticing that the girl was sneaking away into the forest. He looked down at Ivy... "Tsk." He shadow traveled the both of them into camp. "Terry! Take care of her! A hellhound attacked her. But I have to go do something." Shade looked at him once with pleading eyes so that he would understand and disappeared. He was going to follow Lorelei.

Lorelei
I sat down at the roots of a tree. I suddenly stiffened when I felt a precense. "Come out, whoever you are!"

Terry blinked in surprise. He raced over to Ivy. The marks of a hellhound over her.
(Shade asks if you can continue that in the other thread with Jasper.)

Ivy nodded. "Guess my time is up."She whispered. "There's no intruder. Hellhound. I-I accidently went slightly outside the borders."She took a deep breath, but she was getting weaker. She looked up at Terry. "Take my sword to Athena cabin. It was from Mom. Since I can't use it, someone else can."She took a slow shuddering breath.

Terry narrowed his eyes at his half sister. Technically, even though he was Roman. He remembered her from the prom party. They had exchanged names. "I will. You should have been more careful..." He wasn't really sure what to say. She was dying and he didn't know her that well. But she was still his half sister...

"I know. Believe me, I know."Ivy whispered. She had been stupid, and now she was dying because of it. "Bye Terry."Ivy said, feeling her body slowly give up. She was close, she knew that much. Then, she slowly closed her eyes, and let the dizzying darkness wash over her.

Terry stared down at the still body of Ivy in sad silence. He stood up, taking her sword. First he would notify the Big House of another death. One that could have been prevented...Then he would give her sword to the Athena cabin. Let them give it to a new member or something. He set off, looking behind him once, half expecting her to wake up from sleeping and run off happily. Not going to happen.

(this is really sad) I was running around the woods, looking for some monsters to fight.I was at the top of the hill when I saw Terry.I walked over to him. "Something wro-" I stopped when I saw Ivy. I dropped down next to Terry, looking at my sister.I could tell that she was dead. "What happened?"I asked, choking back a sob.

Terry turned away at Rachel sobbing. He closed his eyes angrily. He could have helped her some how. It could have been prevented by....some way...But he was wrong. She had died and he could have done nothing to prevent it. "She wandered outside of camp borders without noticing. She didn't get her sword out of time...a hellhound..." He trailed off.

"I'm really sorry." Terry's voice was quiet as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "She wanted a newcomer in the Athena cabin to have this." He held out Ivy's old sword.

I looked at Ivy's sword. I remembered her showing it to me once. Suddenly, a wave of memories washed over me. How nice Ivy had been when I first arrived. Us, at the meeting I held randomly a couple months ago. Us laughing together in our cabin. Just a few weeks ago, how amazing she had looked at prom.Looking down on Ivy's still body,it seemed like all that had happened ages ago. I took the sword carefully, like it was a bomb that might explode any minute. "Thank you." was all I could manage without bursting into tears.
