Atsuko Izumi's spirit stood before the judgement. Her dark brown eyes gazed around her. Her long black hair flowed in a misty ghostlike form. She had died. But it hadn't hurt. And she wasn't afraid. She was satisfied with her life and all she had done. This was true darkness, but she was not alone. She had her friend's will carried here. Their promises had to be kept. She was the light. And she was not afraid.
"Atsuko Izumi, daughter of Nike, step forward."
She did as told.
"You lived your life knowing you were a demigod until the age of eleven. Your father decided to send you to Camp Half Blood. You arrived in fraught, but you joined Gaea shortly after." The voice took a sudden heat at the last sentence.
"Yes, I did." Izumi replied calmly and unflinchingly. She looked in the direction of the voice.
"However, your intentions seemed to be for good. You got two demigods to return to the side of Olympus. And you died saving your friend. We place you to the Fields of Elysium."
Izumi looked up and bowed once. "Thank you." And she meant it. Elysium. It wasn't over yet, her journey. She would try for rebirth if possible. It wasn't over yet.
