( I totally don't plan on doing this anytime soon. Krissie's either gonna die or rejoin the camps AFTER the FINAL final battle. But since it's Alternate Timeline... (Btw I'm randomly switched to 1st person for this thread.) KRISSIE~ I'm. Not. Doing. This. What the fuck was I thinking? I pledged myself to Gaea...and... Then why was I walking, in a thundering rainstorm on a lonely looking path back to camp? I still had no freaking idea. I knew Gaea would win. I was positive of that. But was abosolute power worth having no friends? Usually I would've scoffed, "Of course" and left it at that. But I'd never actually thought about it. The rain beat down, and lightning flickered in the dark night sky. I was sopping wet by now, and didn't even bother using my whole 'child of Poseidon' powers to dry myself up. I wasn't in the mood, and the rain kind of reflected how I was feeling at the moment. I hesitated at the camp border. There was time to turn back. To forget the whole desicion. I teleport back to the Wolf House and nobody would notice I was gone... But I didn't. I walked passed the pine tree, Peleus, and over the border. The magical borders weren't exactly working right now, so I was still being rained on. I stood at the top of the hill awkwardly. I checked the time. 4:09 in the morning. I shifted my weight from foot to foot and eventually decided on standing there until the first camper woke up. Probably not for another three hours but I didn't care. I can't believe I'm admitting this, even to myself, but... I was home. ( I was bored...and this seemed like a fun way to entertain myself.)

Summer tossed in her bed in the Zeus cabin. She was used to the thundering, but an especially loud one made her open her eyes. She woke up with a start and glanced at the clock on the table next to her. In flashing red numbers, the screen spelled out '4:09'. She sighed. The day didn't start until three more hours... she rolled on her other side and tried to go to sleep again, snuggling deeper into her sheets. But as she lay there for ten more minutes, she realized that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep again. Muttering curses and unintelligent words, she got up and looked out the window. It was raining pretty hard, the window all clouded up.
Still, she peered outside. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Then she saw the silhouette of a person at the top of the hill. That immediately got her alerts up. She blinked the drowsiness from her eyes as she squinted at the figure. Who would be out there at this time of the day... Summer's eyes widened as she realized that it was Krissie. Krissie! Krissie was back! She had thought about this day, but doubted it would happen. And here it was. Or... she narrowed her eyes and glanced thoughtfully out the window at Krissie's outline. Was she really coming back to camp? Or was Gaea sending her to kill campers and leave their bodies to scare the camps'? Well, only one way to find out.
Summer didn't bother changing out of her nightgown and opened the door and stepped out into the pouring rain. Soon, she was soaking wet. She flicked a strand of wet hair out of her face. Into the rain, she yelled, "Krissie? Is that you?"

(this is actually getting fun)
What the fu-oh, of course. The first person she met had to be Summer. And she was down the hill just outside the Zeus Cabin, too. The tangled, dirty blonde hair was unmistakable, as well as the daughter of Zeus's voice. "Krissie? Is that you?"
Krissie's eyes pratically popped out of her head. Great... she thought sarcastically. The rain continued to pour, but the soaking wet demigod made her way down the hill. She maintained her balance, despite the slippery wet grass that would've caused most people [and by most, I mean untrained mortals] to fall and end up as a giant heap at the bottom of the hill.
She stopped at the bottom of the grassy hill. Her white t-shirt was dripping water and was practically see through. Her denim skirt was dripping water into her sneakers, and her normally silky black hair and tangled, loose, and also dripping water everywhere. Not that it made a difference since it was raining and all. The rain had also washed away any makeup Krissie happened to be wearing, which was basically just lip gloss and mascara.
Krissie could see Summer clearly now. The daughter of Poseidon managed a wavery smile, though it was obviously forced. "It's me," she said quietly.

Summer hesitantly took a step closer to the daughter of Poseidon, examining Krissie with curiousity. A million-well, not literally-questions were flying around in her head. "How...why..." She was just so shocked by the fact that her fri-...ahem, Krissie was at camp that it took her a few moments to get her wits together. She knew she should be on guard and defensive, but she kept staring at Krissie. And besides, she had left her weapons at her cabin. She wasn't sure what to ask Krissie first. Are you back to join the camps again? Did you come here alone? She decided to stick with the simplest one: "Wh-why are you here?"

Krissie crossed her arms. She tried not to shiver. Why didn't just dry herself and get over it? She still refused to, and still didn't know why she woudn't do it. Krissie bit her lip Why was she here? She didn't even know herself. She should be at the Wolf House, planning the latest invasion to kill more demigods at Camp Half-Blood until they were weakened enough so that we knew that we could take them down without much effort and with barely any of Gaea's soldiers dying.
"I...uh..." Krissie mentally kicked herself. Say something intelligent! Why did you come here? Krissie swallowed. If she said this now, there was no turning back...she'd betrayed the camps once. If she went back on what she was about to say, she would never be welcomed back. Ever. Krissie thought of all the campers she'd killed. Did she know them? Half the time, she wasn't paying attention to who she slaughtered. Did Krissie kill one of her former friends. Krissie sighed. She knew what she came here for, and could barely believe it herself. "What does it look like? I'm on the camps' side again."

It was the answer that she had been hoping for, but the answer that seemed to good to happen. She ignored Krissie's stammering at the beginning. Krissie was back with the camps. And she had said it herself, too. Summer felt a smile beginning to appear on her face. Then the guarded look returned. What if she was lying... But Summer could tell that she wasn't. At least she thought so. "Krissie..." she breathed, eyes shining. "You're back."
One of the first people at camp she had met. Krissie was back. "Oh my gods..." Summer stepped forward and fiercely threw her arms around Krissie in a hug.
(Awwwww <3. lol remember DS, Char said 'Awwww' but it turned out 'Asses'. LOL)

(Time to ruin the moment!!!)
"That's cute." His voice was like icy cold metal. The second leaned against a wall of earth behind them. Through the murky rain, he could barely be seen. The cat face on his ornate mask smiled mockingly at them. "Gaea will be dissapointed. Very."

(lol)
Summer stepped back from Krissie as a new voice rang through the air. She whirled around to see the second Ace. She hadn't heard him coming. Probably because of the rain. Her eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here? Did you follow her?" She reached for her knife, then remembered that she had left her weapons in her cabin, and that she was still in her nightgown. She felt pretty stupid at the moment.

"What other reason would I be here?" He replied smoothly. He raised his arms casually. "I am my mother's intel. I watch her soldiers for her. She would want to know if a high ranked and trusted soldier betrayed us." He aimed the last sentence at Krissie.

(great job with it, too. LOL)
Krissie crossed her arms and glared at him. "Go tell your mother, Ace," she spat. She knew it would annoy him, and that was why she called him that. "I don't care."

"You-!" He had nearly lunged at her and unsheathed his sword. But he stopped suddenly at a sharp pain stabbing into his head. Alright, just this once. He hated that person. He hated how he sometimes made descisions for him. He stepped back, waiting for the headache to pass and to fight off his stupid feelings.
Ace was already dead! He shouldn't have a will to control him...Finally, he just leaned against the earth wall he had created. His voice was quite, but clear over the rain. "I don't get you people."

Summer smiled at Krissie's response. That was the old Krissie-er, Crystal Summer knew. The Crystal she had laughed with, pranked with, got pranked with, argued with... And the times where no one could understand the conversation once they had started talking... Summer missed those times. Now they were here, in the rain, standing together.
"What don't you get?"

He looked up warily at them, his misty blue eyes staring from the slits of the mask. "Why are you all so persistant? There's nothing to save. You're all going to die anyway. You're all sticking to a pointless cause."
That's why you won't ever understand, they are strong because they are united. They have something to fight for. Each other. He gritted his teeth. This has nothing to do whith you, go away, first. He still didn't understand. Were others that important to them?

Summer crossed her arms in stubbornness. Though part of what the Ace look-alike guy had said was true. "Well, even if we all die at the end, we'll die knowing that we fought for our friends. Our parents, even though they might not care. We'll die fighting for what's special to us. Maybe you people know nothing but killing, and hurting people, and stuff, but we people have feelings."

"Feelings..." He trailed off. He didn't really understand. What good were they? Because they were close to you, when they betrayed you it hurt more. Why risk it? Why would people ever sacrifice themselves for others?
You know the reason why. The voice was gentle this time. No! I don't! I don't understand at all! Go away! He snapped back.
The second resisted the urge to smash the back of his head against the wall to get him out. He would look insane and it probably wouldn't work anyway. "Holding onto hope is nothing but a naive way of thinking. Fate will take its course. You cannot do the impossible. We will crush you."

Summer crossed her arms stubbornly, facing the Ace clone guy with her head high. "Well, we'll know that we'll die fighting for the right side then! The good side."

Krissie snorted. "Summer, you just said that." Then she turned to face Ace and scowled. "Fate has its own way of working out. If the camps lose, they'll eventually overpower you in the end. We'll overpower you in the end."

The nameless boy stared at them for a while. Then he shook his head. "Good, side, so I suppose we're the bad side? There is no good side. We're all killing each other anyway. Don't count on overthrowing the very Earth you stand on."
In the end, he guessed he would never understand. "But you two are quite admirable. I'll give you credit for that. Whatever keeps your camp's bonded so firmly, I acknowledge. Once Gaea rules over the camps, I will remember your determination."
They looked like they knew what they were doing...he guessed. Well, you don't know what you're doing. Why not join them? He snorted inwardly to him. In your dreams, I'll never follow your fate. You might have bonded and wanted to die for them, but I will not follow you. I will live on and stay loyal to my mother. I'm not you.
He waved an arm and a dome of earth wrapped around him, then reopened and sank back into the ground. By the time it had opened, he was no longer there.

After he was gone, Summer turned look at Krissie again. Her face was once more lit up with a smile now that he was gone. Stupid Gaea. It gave her a headache. Ugh. "So, you're really back!"
