(Ha ha, couldn't think of a title.)
Summer smiled as she entered the arena with Terra behind her. There was already a crowd of people, grouping around a fighting pair with awe. Summer couldn't see who were fighting, so she ignored them and led Terra to the side of the arena, away from the crowd.

Terra followed ecstatically. She was a bit excited. It had been a long time since she had done fighting in any form. So what if she was rusty? She ignored the thought and stretched out her leg. She stretched the other one and looked at Summer. "Right then..."

Summer spun around to face Terra, smiling. "You have a weapon?" Then she remembered Terra's watch, and what he had said, and mentally kicked herself. Oh yeah. "So, what weapon does your watch turn into?"

Terra grinned. She clicked the button on the side of her watch and a blade that was wrapped across the back of her hand appeared in a golden flash. The green was overcome by the gold color. There was a swirling black pattern decorated along the serrated golden edge. The blade wasn't too long, but it was sharp enough. The thing she would never tell anyone, was that she could extend it by ajusting the button on her watch. Or withdraw it. She could also shoot the blade from it. It would be replaced. And she rarely fought close combat, she just shot successive volleys of golden blades at her oponent. She would let Summer find that out in the fight. "Aculeus is it's name." Terra noted. It meant "sting" in Latin. What it looks like. Sorry, I'm a Bleach addict.

(Is that an anime? I don't watch/read anime or manga. But Blackie is animental, lol.)
Summer blinked in surprise as the blade seemingly just suddenly appeared out of thin air, and instinctively took a step back, but stepped closer again as she saw that the blade was unmoving again. She examined the weapon curiously. She had never seen a weapon like Terra's watch before. She wondered if the blade had any special abilities.
Summer looked up at Terra at the sound of her voice. Aculeus...sting in Latin? She translated the word in her head. She had learned a variety of languages when she had been fourteen.

"Let's go!" Terra grinned and dashed forward suddenly. Terra was a speed type fighter. She made small cuts that effectively slowed down the opponent. When they tired out, she would finishe them off. Terra had lots of stamina. This was her fighting style. She dashed past Summer while striking fast at her side.
(Yup, it's Soifon and her Suzumebachi, eh, you can just ignore me.)

(lol)
Terra shouldn't have given a battle cry. It told Summer that Terra was about to attack. She whipped out her knife, a simple celestial bronze blade, nothing special. Summer tensed as Terra charged, then caught her attack on the hilt of her knife. Her eyes followed Terra, not attacking. Summer liked to figure out her opponents fighting style before attacking.

Terra stopped from running past her and dropped down on her hands in a quick and fluid motion. He leg swept out to trip her from behind.

Summer had been focused on Terra's eyes. Someone's eyes usually gave away what they were planning. And she didn't see Terra's leg coming. Of balance, she felt herself fall forwards. Then her training kicked in, and she threw her hands out in front of her. In one smooth move, she flipped forwards, getting a boost from the ground as her hands pushed against it. As she felt her feet touch the ground, she spun around on her heels to face Terra again, eyes narrowed. She was more aware of what Terra could do now.

Terra was right behind Summer as Summer flipped and turned in her direction. She sprang forwars and stabbed straight at Summer's eye with Aculeus. Deadly, but what was the point if you didn't try?
(lol, so I changed the way my weapon will work. It just pretty much shoots out blades at the opponent. It's a long ranged weapon. And short range she can do, but she doesn't like it as much.)

(Oh, cool.)
As soon as she spun around, she saw Terra's blade coming straight at her eye. Surprised by the unexpected attack, she tried to dodge out of the way, but her weapon still caught Summer on her forehead. The cut stung, but Summer smiled at Terra. "Nice, so you know how to fight already?" Of course she did. Duh. It would explain her watch/weapon.

Well, it was how she killed her sister. Terra immediantly pushed away the thought and nodded. "I'm experienced...because I was a rogue demigod. We wandered the streets and monsters always attack us."
Without further explanation, she swung her arm in an outward motion and a golden blade shot out from Aculeas at Summer.

"Ah." Suddenly, there was a flash of gold as Terra swung her arm. Summer immediately jumped to the side as a golden blade shot past her. She now knew that whenever Terra suddenly moved, you should move anywhere but where you were standing.
Summer narrowed her eyes at the blade that just shot past her, then looked back at Terra. How many abilities did her weapon have?

Terra grinned, "Aren't you going to attack?" It was better if she didn't, so telling her might make her keep her distance. Her weapon was long ranged, after all. All it did was extend and withdraw the blade because it was loose. She could shoot it. But close combat was more annoying.

Summer wasn't sure whether or not to attack. Terra might be taunting her or she could be expecting Summer to attack and it was better for her that way. Or maybe Terra had just said that because Terra knew that she would consider all of the options, to confuse her more. Well, Summer was certainly confused now. Not knowing what to do, she decided on attacking.
In one quick movement, she took a step forward with one foot and used that foot to pivot herself forward and swung out at Terra. She knew it gave Terra easy access to her back, but Summer didn't care. She would use this to see how much Terra knew.

Terra stepped aside and sprang away as Summer charged in. She wasn't fast anough and a tiny cut appeared on her shoulder. "Tch.." She shot out a golden blade with a swing of her arm towards Summer's back.

Summer didn't try to dodge, deciding to let Terra get in a shot to give her more confidence, then stepped back to face Terra again. "Not bad," Summer declared, smiling at her. Then she suddenly charged forward, jabbing at Terra's stomach.

Terra narrowed her lavender eyes as Summer charged in. She raised her arm and let the blade of her knife cut downward on her wrist. That was where Aculeus extended from her wrist down a bit. It was hard metal, and didn't affect Terra one bit.
"Let me tell you something..." Vines shot out of the ground and crashed down at Summer in a tangled mass from both sides. But it let Summer escape from the back. Terra didn't have the power to summon so many vines to cover behind Summer. "I hate it when people go easy one me!"

Summer smiled at Terra's sudden anger. She figured that if she could get Terra mad, Terra might start losing concentration on the fight. As the vines flew at her, she jumped back, expecting to get cornered against another wall of vines and maybe having to use her powers to get out. Summer didn't like using her powers during practice, since it drained too much energy. To her surprise, there was nothing behind her. A look over her shoulder confirmed it, and Summer stepped back, clear of the vines. So Terra had limits to her powers too?

She shot another blade out at Summer, expecting her to spring back. A wave of thorny brush grows right behind Summer in case she kept going backwards. The vines are guarding her sides at ready.
