Summer blocked Terra's attack with the blade of her knife, then quickly moved back, away from Terra. She decided to switch between trying to dodge Terra's long-ranged attacks and close combat.

Terra retaliated with her trying to prevent long range by shooting a blade straight at her. Terra stepped a little farther away from Summer as she did so.

Summer knocked the blade off course with her knife, sending it flying to the left. But she knew that she couldn't keep avoiding Terra's blades forever. When would this fight end..?

Terra didn't like dragging on a fight either. The cuts Summer gave her were small, but didn't mean it didn't bother her. They still stung and bled. So she would try to end this now to avoid getting further injury. Thorns exploded from the ground. Vines whipped from behind her. A mass of plants in a tangled explosion bore down on Summer from all sides in a crazy heap. Terra felt herself drain of all energy. She could barely stay n her feet now, but...

Summer's eyes flashed as she heard the vines shoot up into the air. But she had nowhere else to go now. The vines had surrounded her. It looked like Terra had certainly used a lot of her power.
Summer's first thought was to somehow try to cut through all of the vines. But it would be a waste of energy. And it was practically impossible, in her current state. So she just went with it, letting the vines wrap around her, tripping over to the ground. Gah...

Terra sat down with a tired sigh and clicked a mechanism in Aculeus. It folded on itself, turning backwards and revealing the green underside. It returned to the original form of a watch. The vines disappeared. Terra wiped the sweat from her forehead and grinned. "Wow, it's been so long since I let loose and fought like that!"

Summer smiled and got up again, facing Terra. "Nice job." She really was something. Now Summer could see why Gaea wanted to recruit her so badly.

Terra blushed slightly. "Thank you. I have a lot of experience. You would too if you had been a rogue demigod."

"So...what was it like, being a rogue demigod?" Summer didn't know why exactly she had asked her that. She wasn't sure how Terra would respond.

Terra let out a sigh. She looked up at the sky, her lavender eyes lost in the clouds. Her voice was reluctant. "It was...hard. And tiring. You had to worry about what was next to eat, and where you would sleep. But most of all, when was the next attack."

Summer was silent as she imagined it. It must have been a dangerous, fearful life, knowing you could be being hunted at every moment...

Terra continued one, remembering. "But it was really free. Really independent. It felt like your life was always yours to live. You had the full choice over it."

(Can you get on this Saturday? Or is it not a good time for you? We're planning for the last small battle to be on Saturday.)
"Full choice, but it was easier to die?" Summer murmured, half to herself. She would probably stay with the camp until she could take care of herself, then leave the camp to be a rogue demigod. Then she wouldn't be stuck in all of this. But she guessed that eventually rogue demigods were going to get involved, so it was better before you couldn't even choose between the camps or Gaea anymore.

Terra looked back at Summer with her isolated lavender eyes. "But it's pretty lonely."
(Nonono, we're going to a table tennis tournament. We might be able to get on in the morning, but...
Shade said we should start it on Monday as soon as we get back from school. Then we can continue it for a week, then end it on Friday, that way no one will miss it if they're less active?)

(Sure. So it would start on the 10th and end the 21st? And I'm too lazy to switch accounts.)
Summer blinked out of her thoughts and looked at Terra. "Yes, it would be lonely. But do you meet the occasional rogue demigod like youself?"

"No, not really. Barely. You meet a lot more monsters than them. And when you do meet them, they're usually running from monsters and they start to chase both of you." Terra laughed as she remembered one boy that had come running down the corner with a pack of hellhounds. Terra and her sister had helped him finish him off.
Oh, my name's Finn. He had said with a nod of thanks. I'll repay you somehow sometime. But I have to go. That was just one example. Rogue demigods rarely joined together, even if they met.
(ok, that sounds great!)

Summer raised an eyebrow at Terra's laugh, but didn't do anything else. She must have been remembering something. The only memories of when Summer was younger that she could remember was all when she was at camp. Except for her mother's face, and how she died...

Terra looked over at Sumer, noticing that she seemed to be thinking about something. "You alright?"

(I just remembered...us Clarksville kids won't be able to get on 17-20th...)
"What? Hmm, oh yeah. I'm fine." Summer babbled randomly. She didn't know what to tell Terra.

(Well, you have ten days to rp the Gaea attack at least...)
Terra looked at her doubtingly, then let it go. If a person dint want to say something, it was probably some memory of the past. A past they did not like talking about.
