Quinn sat on the bench by the arena. She waited for someone to talk to her, and fight. She never wore her gloves while fighting. Even if it's just practicing. Her hands were her weapon. Nobody could harm her while she was wearing them.

Crystal walked past Quinn. Then she stopped when she realized that she didn't recognize the kid. "Hi!" She said as she always did.

"Hi!" Quinn said. She didn't know this person. "What's your name? I'm Quinn." She put her left glove on so she could shake hands.

"Nice meeting ya! Want to go fight?" She took her glove off and put it back in her training bag. She picked up her sword. It was an odd sword. When she held it, it didn't hurt the sword, but it hurt people that touched the sword. "Did you give this to me to help me?" She asked Ares in her head.

Quinn decided she would put her gloves on. For now. She held her sword and shield up and started blocking hits.

I leaped from the tree. It was a good secret entrance to the Arena, but NO ONE knew about it. It was good for surprising people.

Crystal saw, out of the corner of her eye, Summer land o nthe ground by a large tree. She ignored it and walked slowly forward, blocking and slashing.

Quinn took her left glove off. She did something very odd. She ran backwards and let Crystal corner her. When Crystal got very close, Quinn grabbed her sword with her left hand and touched Crystal on the shoulder, leaving a scar. (When she held it, it didn't hurt the sword, but it hurt people that touched the sword.)

Crystal backed off instantly, but not because of what Quinn did. She had another idea in her head.
