I am extremely new and have no idea what I'm doing

I walked into the room, well, technicaly me and Crystal were shoving each other to get inside and greet the new kid first.
Finally, I got shoved behind and Crystal walked up, smiling casually as she tucked a strand of her hair behind an ear, and said in a giddy voice, "Hi!"
I growled and ran my fingers through my hair, which got slightly tangled in the mess by the door. Then I put on a friendly facade and said, "Hello. So you're new?"

I heard the slight whisper and cracked a thin smile. "Crystal's known for pranks. Though most of them are done on enemies considering most of them are pretty dangerous."
Crystal glared at me, then Summer. "Shut up," she mumbled.
I grinned and absentmindedly tugged at my green t-shirt with the giant peace sign on it.

I smiled. "Thanks. I bought it at..."
Crystal cut me off. "No one cares. You'd go on and on."
I glared at her. "Look who's talking!"
Crystal crossed her arms, flipped her hair over her shoulder, snorted, "But I look good while doing it", and ignored me from then on.

I tried not to feel offended, and Crystal uncrossed her arms. "Shut up," she said.

Crystal: I looked around in my enchanted bag-literally, Ally charmed it to hold anything and never run out of room-and dug out a pink frilly dress. "If ya don't shut up, I will force you to wear this."
Katie looked like she was trying very hard not to burst into laughter.

I couldn't help it. I laughed hysterically at Summer's reaction to that dress. True, I probably would have done the same thing in her position, but even then, I probably would've laughed.
(I don't think that that is how you spell hysterically, but I do not know how you actually spell that word, so deal with it!)

"If you slap me, I'll just laugh harder." I responded.

I left the cabin. As a wise book once said, "Don't waste energy on battles you were never supposed to be in in the first place."

I grinned, and called after her, "I know, I'm awesome!"
