Izumi walked into the Arena, over to the dummies. People called her Jade now. Her Japanese background and accent made her feel different and afraid to talk to people. It made her very shy. So she would practice alone unless offered to practice. She stroked the long black sheathe. A flowery pattern of beige was etched into it. She pulled out her long one sided swords. A Japanese Katana. She ran forward and sliced off one dummies head, whirling round and stabbing another through the chest. She flipped onto her hands and sprang off to land behind another. She slashed it into pieces of straw. She stood up and sheathed her sword. At least she wasn't that rusty....

I walked into the arena, bored and wanting to train. Hmm, I should really get a weapon. I'll visit the armory later. I took a weapon off the racks.

She turned around at the slight sound. Her sense of hearing nearly as good as her eyes. She had been trained acutely before. She had lived to fight and become victorious. To catch her mother's attention. She wouldn't lose.
Izumi shredded a dummy into pieces of straw and rope before stopping again. It was another half blood. She was aware. Her prescence made her wary.

I picked a knife, and twirled it around a few times. Hmm...not as good as my mental powers, but it'll do. I heard footsteps and whirled around to see another demigod. I half waved. "Hey. You are?"

She froze, flustered. What should she say? Was it weird, the way she talked? "I-I'm Atsuki Izumi, daughter of Nike, De Arimasu. Please call me Jade, De arimasu." She stammered the words and bowed.
(How do you get a pic?)

(I like it! thank you! So...how do you make it a pic?)
She shuffles her feet and looks up. "It's nice to meet you, De Arimasu." She had a strange way of talking. The habit she had when she was little.

(Put and [/img] around it. Here, I'll modify your profile.) "You too." I smiled at her brightly.

The young girl put her long Katana back into its sheathe on her belt. She touched the design lovingly and looked back up at the other half blood. "Want to.....practice?"

Lorelei: I shrugged, but smiled. "Sure. I have to warn you, I'm experienced." I laughed at that. I looked at the knife I picked and twirled it around a few times. It was well balanced. I think I'll keep you... "I think I'll call you 'Hypnotize'." I said out loud. I forgot that Jade was there, and my face turned red. "Er, I was talking to...my knife." Gods, that sounded stupid.

She smiled, relaxing a bit. "It's fine. I'm experienced as well." She didn't want to tell her why. She was experienced at fighting, and losing to the main branch's number one. Which her father couldn't stand. So here she was. "My blade has a name too, so don't worry."
"Shouri Jinsoku. My mother named it. It's a gift from her." She looked at it lovingly and pulled it out of the decorated sheathe. The hilt was wrapped with a laurel design. The laurel for a winner. She wasn't one of victory. The long blade made up for her small figure and short reach. It was light and easy to keep a grip on. The blade was steel. Mixed in was a celestial bronze that made the blade swirl in two different colors in an impression of marble. Like all katanas, the blade was one sided. One side was flat and harmless. The other sharp and deadly. "It's name means swift victory." She said.
But it didn't bring swift victory. It only slowed down her loss. It held the powerful aura to intimidate the enemy and boost her chances of winning. Other than that, she had no powers.
