Luner looked at Caroline. "Are you alright? And I figured out the answer to your question," Luner said, seeing something in Caroline's eyes that didn't quite look right.

"Yeah, I'm alright...?" Caroline didn't really know what Luner meant by that. Of course she was alright, right? She had no wounds...visible ones, at least. "And, erm, what was my question again?" Gods, that sounded so stupid of her.

Caroline frowned slightly. Emotionally..? What had she done to suggest that..? "Um, yeah, I guess I'm okay." Despite everything going on, Caroline had to crack a smile at Luner's next words.

Luner smiled back. She looked over the camp. "It really is a great view! Hmmmm. We've been up here a while. I wonder what time it is..." she added looking up into the sky. She'd use the sun to figure it out, but the glare made her yes burn and water terribly.

Caroline hadn't even thought about the time until Luner mentioned it. "Yeah...I think..." Caroline squinted at the ball of light. "Hmm...huh, almost 5." Caroline glanced at Luner. "You want to go down?"

Caroline nodded, and shifted to put a foot on the top ledge, then another, slowly making her way down. She glanced up at Luner again, smiling. "Coming?" She took another couple slow steps. She didn't want to misstep and fall off the wall...that would not be a pretty way to die...then again, nothing was.

A few minutes later, Caroline looked down, expecting to see the dizzying space under her. But instead, she saw the ground inches from her feet. A feeling of relief washed over her, and she sighed as her feet touched the comforting ground.

She opened her eyes, relieved. She simply jumped down from where she was and did a tuck-and-roll, standing up quickly. "Well, going down was fast."

Caroline laughed softly. "It sure was. Somehow, I think that going down is better than going up. I mean, climbing scares me every time because I'm afraid my foot might slip and I'll fall. But coming down, you know that with every step you take, you're closer to the ground, so if you fall, you'll have a better chance of living. Does that make sense?"
