What was happening? I had no idea. Was I going to help? Hell yeah.
I wasn't about to let some idiots destroy this camp, no matter if I still didn't completely believe I was a demigod. This was the first place I actually fit in that wasn't a one room run down shack that I had to share with my brother.
I charged into the battle, a half-complete sword made by a Hephaestus kid in one hand at my side and my knife in the other. I slashed at people I didn't think I had seen around here, or just people that ran at me from random directions.

Ryan Had Been in the forest when all this started. She head yelling and ran back as fast as she could, stopping when she saw the attack. She was tempted to run back and hide but remembered what Jasper had taught her. She quickly vanished from sight and made it to her cabin, quickly climbing on the roof, not trusting the ground. She pulled out her bow and started To pin Gaea's campers to the ground, not wanting to actually hurt someone.

Ace stared at Caroline who had been knocked down. "Weak. Hope is a naive way of thinking." Ace slashed down mercilessly at her head.

I rolled out of the way, but his sword made a cut on my cheek. I wiped away some blood and spat onto the ground. "I don't care."

Ace didn't reply. His emotionless green eyes followed after her blankly. They seemed...lost. But he didn't feel it himself. He slashed out sideways at her as she stood up.

I caught his attack on the hilt of my blade again, and almost stumbled back as I did so. I was getting tired. Weak. I gritted my teeth at the thought, and adrenaline rushed through me. I swung my sword at Ace.

Ace was a bit surprised by her sudden increase in speed. But his eyes didn't show it. His eyes were the same empty green pit. He tilted slightly to the side, letting her blade slash past him. But he had misjudged the speed. A tiny cut opened on the side of his cheek and he narrowed his eyes at her. He whirled and moved to her side and slashed at her.

Shade didn't move for fear that the ropes would tighten any more than they already were. He had cuts all over from the sharp edges. It stung, but it was worse watching Ace attack Caroline.
"Stop it!"
He yelled at him. He may not be able to move, but he had to help her. A flame roared up from the ground in front of Ace and shot out to engulf him.

After a while, even Leon and Jasper got tired. Jasper looked at Leon to see how he was doing, when an arrow hit him just a few centimeters from his chest. Jasper coughed and felll forward, crashing down onto the veranda. Leon had his back turned, continuing to fire arrows. Brent spotted Ryan, and continued to slash at Gaia people

Ace stopped in mid swing and sprang back. The flames reached out hungrily, and burned a part of his hand. He let out an angry hiss at the pain. The ground rose up and smothered the flames, crushing them into whispery smoke. He turned to Shade, his green eyes blazing at him on the floor. "Don't interfere!"
He held out a hand and the ropes began to tighten.

Shade yelled as the ropes began tightening. The bladed edges cutting into his arms and legs. He rolled onto his side at the pain, but it didn't help. At last they loosened and Shade just lay unconscious on the ground.

Ace watched nonchalantly as Shade let out a cry of pain. When he finally fainted, he turned back to Caroline with a small mutter. "How annoying. Maybe I should have killed him first." the burn on the back of his left still hurt though. He was right handed, luckily.

"No!" I watched helplessly as the ropes began to tighten until Shade fainted. I glanced around again, looking for someone on our side who could take him to the Infirmary. Ace's voice cut into my thoughts. When I glared up at Ace, my eyes were a hard, cold green. "Fuck. You."

I ran out of my cabin to see a full scale war. "Gods, Gaeas slaves really are persistant, aren't they?" I ran into my cabin and grabbed my knife. I ran back outside and joined the battle.

Brent stopped and saw Shade down. Not good. He immediatly ran over to him and grabbed Shade by the shoulders. Ignoring Ace, he carefully walked over to the Infirmery, skillfully dodging attacks , two of which managed to cut.................his hair?

Ace smiled. For some reason, he just did. This scenario was so put of wack. He wasn't acting right. This was all the opposite of what it should be. His smile was cold. Not the least bit happy. He allowed the ropes around Shade to release and sink to the ground as Brent picked him up. He looked at Caroline to see when she would attack.

It stung. Shade slowly opened his eyes a crack and blinked at the bright light. He winced as the cuts flared. Wait...where was he? He looked up to see Bren t carrying him. What?
"Hey! Put me down! Caroline is still fighting!"
