Death. What a hilarious thing it was. It mocked everyone. But to Gaea, it was nothing but a joke. She was the great Earth Titan. The mother of everything that stands on this very planet surface. How dare they oppose her? How dare they mock her and resist!
Especially her own son. Ace was dead. She laughed at the notion. Here comes the time for the truth. No one knew who Ace really was. They all knew he was the son of Gaea. They all knew that he could power the earth. But the question was, how did he die? They all assumed one thing. Ace was a demigod. Therefore, he died.
That was wrong. Very wrong. Very far from the truth. Ace was not a demigod.
And here now, Gaea stared at his dead form on the ground before her. "Utter fool." She mumbled. Yes, he was her son, but the Earth loved him very much. She didn't. The Earth did. Confusing? Here, this will do some explaining.
She raised a hand and Ace sank into the ground. Ace was born from the Earth. The dirt she had formed into his body. Her powers she had given him. Did you remember the thought that Prometheus had made the first humans out of mud and clay? Well, who said the Earth goddess couldn't? It was a simple task for her. But she had given him her powers, hence the mark on his shoulder. And he walked, lived, breathed, as any other demigod could. Ace was a part of the earth. And that's why he was her son. Unconditionally loved by the Earth from which he was born.
But the Earth's consciousness known as this evil Gaea did not see him as anything other than a pawn. Losing a pawn was frustrating for her. But the solution was simple. Make another one.
The ground reformed itself. It was very tiring to inject her own powers into a form. To give it a consciousness was even harder. So she would use Ace's own form and blood to make this new one. All she had to do now was give him some powers.
And she did.

He had no name. He just knew he was the Second. And the First was named Ace. He could still see shards and fragments flash through his consciousness. How to use his powers, how to use the sword. He studied the card in his pocket while sitting under a tree. He had been "reborn". Well, he didn't remember much from the First's memories. Just a few things. He stared at the trunk of the tree opposite to him and let out a tiny sigh. It was familiar. Too familiar. Yet he had no notion. What was he brought into this world for? To simply serve his mother, he guessed. That, he could do.
He wasted to prove to anyone-everyone-that he was better than him. The First. He would not be weak hearted. He didn't understand the concept of friends. He didn't get why others would feel mad if you hurt someone close to them. He didn't understand any of it. He was like an infant in that concept. And he had no name. No way in hell would he go by Ace. The name was spiteful to him. He wasn't him. Don't compare him to that failure who died helping the other side.
He knew very well that if he overused his powers that he would die like the First. Gaea had formed them. And they wouldn't live as long as normal human beings or demigods would. They had a rather short lifespan. And he would treasure his time. He blinked his misty blue eyes. They were the color of pale haze. It was a washed out and lifeless color. And it was the only thing besides the fact that he liked red that you could tell the difference from the First.

(Oh and the haird was different to!) Tai felt a huge power near by. He focussed harder, the power seemed to be very similar to Ace's. Tai shook his head, it can't be Ace. Ace was never that strong! He peered outside to see this guy... it was... Ace, but he saw Ace die! Right in front of his eyes! But this guy was different.... way different.... his power was... purely ... he can't say evil.

He let out a small sigh. Everything around here was so boring, dull. Life was boring and dull. It was something fragile like glass. You held it, but someone else could crush it. Then it was gone. The shards stuck into the palms of whoever valued and held it. That's why he thought it was better to not have emotions. That's why he didn't value life. That's why he thought it was easy, and his job to kill.
The earth around him trembled a bit. He held his hand out and a swirl of earth sprang from before him. It swirled in a long rope and combined itself, molding and twisting. It drained a white clay color, then hardened into a ceramic mask. He smiled and twirled it for a moment in satisfication. No. They would not know who he was. They would not see his features. They would not compare him to that weakling.
He fixed on the mask and heard a rustle. He didn't turned his head slightly so from the slit of the grinning cat mask, his icy blue eyes regarded Tai. He had gained intel on every soldier for his mother. He never really cared much for these people. After all, they still had emotions. They could be spies for the camp. They could be anything. That's why he didn't get close to them.
He was wordless, and said nothing. He just gazed at Tai demandingly. In other words, "What do you want?" Is what his eyes were telling him. His eyes were a pale glassy blue. Imagine a blue that was very bright and light. It's mixed with white of the highest hue of lightness. Then mix it with water. It becomes washed out, pale, clear. That was the color of his eyes. The slightest hint of a very light blue. The form of ice.

Tai, startled, took a step back. "What do I want?" Tai narrowed his eyes. "It should be I, who ask what do you want? And who are you by the way?" Tai's brows furrowed. This guy could be dangerous... he thought. To the CHB... of course... Tai curled his fingers in to a tight fist and tried to channel his energy through his body. He wouldn't want "he person"sensing his fear. A vine started to grow behind Tai as it crept up Tai's back. Then it curled down as it turned bright green. It fused into a sword with a blade shaped like a leaf. He might want to get rid of this guy now...

He hadn't said anything, of course. If he did, his voice would just sound too familiar. He raised a hand and the earth around him rumbled. A swirl of green energy wrenched up the earth into a spiraling hard piece of ground. It curled around him. That showed him who exactly he was. Son of Gaea.
He regarded Tai in boredom. He had his weapon out. Did he want to fight? The intel on this kid popped into his brain. His information. He scowled at the thought. So he was Tai Kenry, son of Demeter. He was less trusted out of the Gaea soldiers because he had just joined. How rude, speaking to him like that when he was just a newbie.

Tai studied Second. 'Show off!' Tai thought. Tai's eye's went green as his eyes glared through Second. Second didn't show any bit of interest in him. Tai scowled as he drew his curved blade. The sun glared down in front of him. 'I am about to leave, anyway... peh... I will enjoy my time while it freaking lasts' Tai spun around as his eye's glowed, he held his hand above his head as he bent his legs. His armed hand was balanced in front of his chest. 'I'll give him something to think about!' Tai unleased a wave ofvines... wrapping around himself. They disentigrated as Tai appeared again. Behind Second...

The curling wall of earth was just to show him who he was. So he was kind of surprised when Tai suddenly drew his sword. These people...their emotions were so complicated. He would never understand them. The ground around him rumbled as Tai disappeared. What? Was he trying to attack him? Where? He turned and looked to his left. A glimpse told him that the kid was behind him. A wall of earth shot up in defense behind him.
What was he doing? Why was he attacking him? Was it that he wanted to prove himself or practice? Or was it that he was really trying to hurt him...meaning he was a spy?

"Your not attacking eh?" Tai smirked. He let out a deep breath. This guy was not proving anything. Emotionless.... but yet... nevermind. Tai stuck his blade into the ground. "What? Are you afraid?"

He narrowed his eyes at his remark. What was this kid up to? Was it training? Or... "Could it be...that you're a traitor?" The earth around him swirled angrily, softening and swirling into different patterns.

"Me? Traitor?" Tai smirked. "I was loyal to chb to the end. YOu know what... this is probably my last fight, please entertain me!" Tai rose up as vines rose up from the ground. They circled Tai in a rythmetic pattern. He pointed his sword at Second.

Another person throwing their life away? Second didn't understand. He just narrowed his ice blue eyes and glared at Tai. Why did they put their lives on the line for such a camp? It didn't make any sense to him. The words friend held fruitless meaning for someone like him who had no feelings. He did not understand the reason.
So he did the stubborn thing and replied, crossing his arms. "Why? I don't understand why you value that camp of yours so much. Throwing your life away for others...is useless!" He hled out a hand and the earth hardened into long spears and shot out at Tai.

Tai grasped his word. His blade above his head. As the spears came near, Tai swung donw. The blade made contact with one spear as it broke in to two. He jumped up as the other spears came at him. He unleashed a wave of vines that wrapped around the spears. As Tai came down, he bent his legs and leaned forward to absorb the impact of the earth beneath him. Then he smirked, two long pieces of grass emerged from the ground right were Second's foot is. They tightly wrapped around his foot. Its not easy to tear away, these peices of grass are... well you can say.... strong and sturdy.

He stared at the blades of grass, not bothering to remove them. Tai hadn't attacked him yet, after all. They weren't trouble yet. This person was quite skilled after all. A shame that he had to die. He wondered if he should let this kid go. But that would be considered betraying his own mother. Killing another worthless one would not affect him.
The earth around Tai began to shake angrily, cracking open a crevice and splitting under Tai. The dark abyss below was endless, and the opening had appeared suddenly.

Tai smiled. Second was underestimating him. Tai had never lost a fight against anyone and wasn't about to. As the ground opened beneath Tai... Tai wondered, 'What might happen if he didn't try to do anything?' But he didn't want to find out. He leaped straight up as he safely landed on a tree limb. He was on his balls of his feet... he was of course, preparing an attack... but his face showed nothing...

He watched Tai jump away from the opening crack. He closed it calmly and stared up at Tai. "Like a monkey." He commented. Then the ground under the tree made a horrible grinding noise. There was a loud crack, and the tree Tai was on tumbled down, falling. What had happened was he had sharpened the dirt where the roots of the tree were. They cut the trunk from the roots that held the tree in place, and it fell.

Tai leaped up as he curled his right hand into a fist. As the tree toppled down Tai held his sword above his waist in a 45 degree angle. He lashed out his hands as the sword sliced through the tree. As the two halfs of the tree split, he formed a fist in his left hand and switched his sword to his right. Then he swiftly leaped up and landed in front of second. He swiped out one leg and followed up with a slash.

He blinked as he jumped from the tree straight at him. He watched as he landed in front of him. He sprang forward into the air. At the same moment, a rod of earth shoots up on his right and harden's into stone. As he leaps over Tai's outswung leg, the rod of earth blocks his swordstrike.
Second springs onto his hands and aims a powerful kick at Tai. Moving around like this was exhilarating for him. Maybe he should begin to use his sword later. But now, he felt that it wasn't needed.

Tai jumped back, suprised, when the rod sprang up. He felt Second aiming a attack at him. Tai stretched his arm out as the kick landed right in his palms. Tai's wrist snapped back and clamped down on Seconds foot tightly to absorb the impact. Then Tai let go of second's foot, preferably letting him drop. Then he focused to create a thorn... about 2 feet long... and Second was, if he didn't react quick... going to fall on it.

He knew that he would react fast enough, but the spike was a bonus for him. A platform of earth elevated itself to rise up around and above the thorn. He twisted and landed on his feet where the spike was supposed to be. He touched the ground and a spark of green energy ran in a crack from his fingers. A flash of bright green meant to blind Tai as the grass lit up. In a second, a wall had sprung up to seperate the two. Then spikes shot out, growing long to impale Tai from the wall.
