Tai simply dropped low in to a crouch. Then... he swung his leaf shaped sword up at the thorns. His blade at shoulder level cut throught the thorn. Then disappeared, and appeared in front of Second. He swung his sword at Second's face and followed up with a heavy kick, enough to knock the wind out of someone... if they get hit directly.

He stepped back at the swing of the sword. He hadn't reacted fast enough, and there was a hazy blur of green. Wha...? By his slow reaction, the sword connected with his mask, making a crack run along it. He sprang backwards to avoid the following kick. He cleared some distance between them. A tendril of earth shot up and repaired the crack in his mask quickly.
What had just happened? He put a hand in front of his left eye. What was going on? It was blurry in one eye...

Tai growled... he lifted his sword again. He ran up to Second and continued to attack. He strike low at Second's stomach with his blade, and swiped several times at him with his legs kicking at him.

He flipped backwards, avoiding each strike. It happened again as he landed on his hands. A dizzy sensation. A cut opened on his shoulder and he cursed. He flipped backwards a few more times. He landed in a crouched position, on arm on his bleeding shoulder. Was his left eye going blind? Why was it...? Why now?

Tai stopped. There was obviously something wrong with Second. Or else he would be attacking. Tai gripped his sword... Seconds shoulder was bleeding. But how? Tai shook his thoughts away... he doesn't like to fight an opponent at a disavantage... Second's cordination is obviously off.... it must have something to do with his sight... Tai snarled and waited...

"What are you doing...?" He looked at Tai with calm ice blue eyes. He hated that look in their eyes. It was pity. The will to go easy on someone. He stood up. A tendril of earth curled up to fill in the slit for his right eye, shutting off vision completely so that he wouldn't be as dizzy. "You're a fool. You should finish off opponents when you get the chance. There is no terms of cheating in survival."

"Why would I want to finish you of again?" Tai asked with a tone of sarcasm in his voice. "I forgot..." Then Tai narrowed his eyes..." There is no terms in survival... but they are different in my terms... if you want to die so badly... then you'll have your wish..." Tai smirked and raised his sword.

He smirked at his words from behind his mask. "I never said I wanted to die..." He put one hand to the ground and hard minerals from the ground broke away and floated before him. The rocks changed shape and sharpened themselves. He waved his hand and they were sent in a flying frenzy at Tai. "I said not finishing me off when you have the chance is insulting for me!"

"Tsk tsk," Tai spat... he swung his sword down but the rocks were too fast. They peirced in to his shirt, as one grazed into Tai's leg. The other one came towards his eyes. Tai managed to catch it in his hands but it cut his hand badly. Tai quickly jumped out of the way when the other's came. He stamped his feet as vines wrapped around Second's legs firmly. He got near Second as he slammed the hilt of the sword in to Second's stomach as Tai followed up with two punches. Then he slammed a knee with full impact at Second's stomach. Tai sent a wave of leafs at Second... the leaf's were as sharp as a knife... and since Second's feet are binded... Second could only defend. (He can also escape if he has a way... but still)

(Read the rules and dont powerplay please.)
He was about to move out of the way when he found the vines wrapped around his leg. He didnt have time to react as Tai slammed his hilt into his stomach. "Guh..." He had time to react by blocking the two punches. The earth around him turned into share spikes, cutting the vines and then engulfing them into the ground. He was sent rolling back in pain as Tai brought his knee up to his stomach, though. The leaves whizzed over his head as he rolled onto the ground. He glared at Tai, a bit ticked that he had used his hilt. But if he hadn't, he would probably be injured now because of his poor judgement on eyesight.
He put a hand on the ground and a green energy ran through the ground. It made its way, leaving some cracks in the earth. Once it reached Tai's feet, there was a pause. An explosion of bright green light meant for blinding him flashed out brilliantly. A spike shot out of the earth, growing out to impale Tai.
