(Meh, I'm bored.)
"He means there are two choices." The masked kid said from atop Thalia's tree, looking down on them. He was grinning, but of course they couldn't see that. He had morphed from the tree and sat down, watching the scene. Gaea had notified him. A new daughter of Demeter who had great potential to joining. He swung his legs in boredom.

Terry was about to go on when a voice made him look up. What? How did he get up there without him noticing? And who? The voice was terribly familiar that it made his head hurt to think of who it belonged to. His blonde hair, the way he sat so comfortably in a tree....
But he was wearing a mask. This must be the kid Shade had told him about. An Ace sound-alike and look-alike. Well, the hair, at least. And a second son of Gaea. "It's rude to interrupt." Terry said with narrowed eyes. His staff shimmered to life in his hand. "And you are?"

"Don't have a name." He shrugged and jumped down lightly from the tree. "Lighten up, Terry Coleman, I'm not here for you." He turned his gaze onto Terra, his icy blue eyes regarding her coldly through the mask.

Summer's eyes widened at the sight of the strange boy she had met in the forest that day. "...I'm not here for you."
She understood. Summer quickly between Terra and him, her eyes now narrowed. "Stay away from her, Ace."

Terra was about to snap at Terry for the nerdy comment on her grammar when she remembered that he was the son of Minerva. She waited impatiently for him to get on with it when someone else interrupted.
Seemed like Terry didn't know him. And did he just say he didn't have a name? Everyone had a name. She took a small step back as he turned his gaze on her. His eyes were pale blue like ice. Terra managed to swallow down her fear at his words. So what exactly was he here for? What did he mean? And who was he?
As a defensive reflex at his threatening gaze, the thorned vine that was in a net around her thickened.

He narrowed his eyes and shot a deadly cold glare at Summer. "Don't compare me to that weakling."
He looked at Terry and Terra (lol, ur names are so alike.) and snickered. "But wow, you all got defensive so fast at a few words. Don't you think it's unfair? You shouldn't keep things from her, you know." He turned towards Terra. "And you think you can really trust these people, Terra Holly? I'm sure your sister already proved that you can't trust anyone."

Terra shivered at his words, the mentioning of her sister made her legs go numb. Her color drained suddenly. The rose stems receded into the earth. She blinked a few times, trying to stop trembling. Her purple eyes stared blankly at the masked boy. Her sister...
Terra tried to keep her voice from wavering. "How do you know..?"

He smiled at her reaction. This was enjoyable. Play around with their feelings until they break. "We know all about you. And we can help you unlike your useless mother who doesn't care even the littlest bit about you. She could have done something to help, right? And she still can. But she never did, never will. We can change that." His voice was soft and smooth like Ace's used to be. And something that still lingered in his voice to make it ironic. It was filled with complete honesty.

Something was wrong. Something was affecting Terra. It had to be this boy's words. That made Terry furious. Ace had never played around with anyone's feelings. He had never understood them. And this kid was probably just as clueless about emotions, and that's why he was playing around with hers so easily. It was wrong, listening to Ace's voice say those words. Terra had to have a bad past for it to affect her.
Terry sprang into action to keep him from saying anymore. "Shut up!" He snapped, swinging his staff at his head.

Terra wanted to punch him to get him to shut up. How did he know? What the heck was going on? What was he talking about? Joining who?
I can't trust these people, I have to get out of here. I have to... she though. She couldn't stand it. Terra turned as Terry swung out at the kid with the mask. Then she ran as hard as she could.

He turned to see Terry's golden flashing staff. He blocked Terry's arm before he could swing it all the way around at his head. Then he pulled out his ace card. In a flash of green, his blade morphed full length.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Terra making a break for it. A clone of him grew out of the earth in her way. Tendrils of earth shot up to tangle around her. The clone snickered. "Not so fast."

Terry jerked his arm away and spun his staff, stabbing it out at him. He noticed Terra and a clone of earth of the masked boy. "Summer!" He called urgently.

"No!" Summer drew her knife from her boot, glaring at the second Ace person thing(lol). "Stop it! It's her decision. You can't force her!" Well, actually, she knew that he actually could, but still...
Summer sprinted for Terra and the other earth boy that had just sprung out of the ground.

Terra kind of freaked out then. She scrambled back, losing her footing and falling onto her back as she tried to avoid one of the tendrils. The sight of the boy's icy blue eyes terrified her. She blinked in shock as the ropes of earth caught her arms. She fought them.

He jumped to the side to avoid his staff. Terry was faster than he had remembered. Wait, he hadn't fought him before! Stop! He swung out his blade at his head in frustration.
The clone made the tendril raise the struggling Terra higher above their heads and out of the way. "I'm not forcing her to do anything. You haven't told her anything, remember? She doesn't know what she needs to choose from. I'm simply keeping her from running away."

Summer gritted her teeth, but didn't dare attack the masked boy's clone, since he had Terra in his clutches. "Well, let her down! Now! Don't hurt her!" Huh, great way for Terra's first day at camp to start out.

"Yeah, frickin let me down!" Terra yelled as she struggled. In her anger, a wave of vines shot out at him.

The wall of vines wrapped around the clone, but suddenly withere and crumbled into dust and disappeared. He glanced up at Terra and let out an annoyed sigh. "I'm not letting you down, why would I?"
The real one jumped back from Terry after he blocked his slash and stepped next to his clone, who sank into the ground. "Why don't we all calm down for a second and have a chat?" He asked casually. A chair of earth formed and he sat down. A second chair morphed itself next to him and the tendrils plunked Terra down next to him. The arms wrapped her wrists to the chair to keep her from sprinting off again.

"You-you...Ace!" Summer shouted angrily. Summer didn't know what to call him now. "Let her up." Gods, why did he want to recruit Terra so badly anyways?

Terra glared at the boy with the mask. Jerk. She tried to move her arms, which were bound tightly by the wrists by the earth. "I don't want to talk about anything! Let me outta these!"
