"Hiding is cowardly." He replied simply, not feeling like explaining that he was simply being Krissie's babysitter as she satisfied herself with the blood of the campers. She was important to the cause of Gaea. And the order had come to him through a mind message.
Don't let her die. But let her kill as many as she wants.
It was probably alright to let her take her stress out on these campers.

He looked back at Krissie, wondering who she would lunge for next. He kept his guard up as well. Crazy people tended to attack their allies as well.

(Hehe, I'm bringing Carry in. And I'll bring Summer out when you...need her. Lol. And this was started before today, so it doesn't count as her birthday yet, right? Carry's, I mean.)
What the hell? Caroline woke with a start. There was a shout from outside. Gods, what was all the commotion? Scowling, she crawled out of bed. She was annoyed for being waked. She didn't bother to change into her daytime clothes. She planned on just opening the door and yelling for whoever was yelling to shut up.
Caroline opened the door to a freaking battle. Really? At night? She grabbed her sword and headed out towards the battle, forgetting that she was in her dolphin pajamas. Ah, how embarrassing. If there wasn't a fight going on, she was sure someone would have burst out laughing.
She froze when she saw all the bodies on the ground. What the... Ari, Jacob, Willow... She didn't bother ask what he was doing here. And then she shifted her gaze to see the killer: Krissie, facing... Shade. "No!" She rushed forwards, running towards them.

He looked up to see another person come running in her pajamas. "...." He recognized Caroline immediately. There was a jolting and warm sensation inside him. A normal person would call that happy. He didn't know what it meant, but he didn't like it. Ace still had some control sometimes. He raised an arm and the ground before Caroline exploded. A wall formed in front of her, blocking her. In the next moment, spikes shot out rock hard from the wall, aiming for the girl. "Don't interfere."

"Caroline?"
Shade turned around. The black flame around him fizzed out slowly. His eyes returned to hazel. He noticed out of the corner of his eye Second was raising his arm. He turned back to Caroline and watched in horror as a wall rose up out of the ground.
"Watch out!"
He shadowtraveled and appeared in front of Caroline. He grabbed her and shadowtraveled again. This time landing farther away.

It all happened so fast that she didn't have time to react. A earth wall erupted from the ground, then Shade had been there, and... She blinked as she realized that Shade had shadow traveled them out of there. "Thank you..." Caroline noticed that he had better control of his powers now.

Shade turned kind of pale. He felt a little...lightheaded... He kind of just slumped forward, a spike had penetrated under his right shoulder blade. He was breathing hard as blood spilled from his shoulder. So he hadn't been fast enough...

Caroline's eyes widened in surprise as Shade began to fall forwards. What-? She quickly grabbed his arm to keep him from falling. Something wet landed on her hand, and she gasped. A drip of blood... Shade was bleeding.
"No..."
Caroline wanted to cry. The fool had gotten hurt saving her. But she knew it wouldn't help anything. "Hang on, I'll-"
Then she remembered that she was in her pajamas. Her bag of emergency ambrosia was in her cabin. And he would need to go to the Infirmary for an injury like this...

Shade turned around and yanked the stupid spike out of his back. He winced slightly as more blood flowed. He looked back at Krissie and Second. It was dangerous here... But he could barely stand. How was he going to get Caroline out of here?

Shade protested. If she tried to carry them, they would be too slow, and one of them would kill both of them as they were trying to escape. Shade looked back at Krissie and Second. He noticed Jeremy. They couldn't just leave him...

Jeremy faced Second.... Second is making it hard for everyone... Jeremy sighed. He dropped his chainwhip into his hands, from his sleeves. Jeremy glared at Second once more and shadow traveled a few spaces behind Krissie. Jeremy was too lazy to do all that walking... so he just shadow traveled. He put his cap in his left pocket as he shouted. "Hey, Krissie!" Krissie must have heard him this time... or she will just ignore him.. but if she does... Jeremy would attack the second he gets a chance.

Krissie casually flipped Jeremy the finger. She didn't even say anything. She ignored everyone else and continued heading towards the Zeus Cabin. (Because I was planning on killing Summer first...  xD) |

Summer skidded to a stop at the edge of the clearing, staring at the battle. Her forehead was beaded in sweat. She had been in the forest, doing some late-night training. With the monsters, of course. But she had merely started an hour ago, when she had heard screams and battle cries pierce the air- That was when she knew something was wrong. So she naturally ran towards the source of the sound.
Summer was astonished to see Krissie there. What was she doing here? He was also there. (lol, it's like 'he who shall not be named'.) Then she saw the blood on their weapons. And the motionless bodies of Ari, Jacob, and Willow laying on the ground... they weren't sleeping... Krissie had killed them. Probably with the help of him, too.
Summer narrowed her eyes in anger, and drew her knife again. She couldn't believe it! Krissie had killed them! Ari...Jacob...even Willow... Her friends. Well, now she wasn't so sure. She spotted Krissie heading towards her cabin. Summer understood immediately with a feeling of dread: She was next on Krissie's victim list.
Carry~
"No, I'm not leaving you!" This was a situation when being stubborn was a bad thing. Caroline's face was streaked with tears. "Either we both go, or we both die here." Her voice trembled as she said the last sentence.

In seconds, the Zeus Cabin went up in flames. Krissie watched the burning fire, then frowned. "Summer's not there..." Narrowed black eyes darted from the Zeus Cabin to the other cabins, scanning the entire camp for Krissie's victim. "Come out come out wherever you are..." she crooned in a sickly musical voice. Her eyes finally landed on...
"Summer Anderson, daughter of Zeus," she hissed under her breath. In a flash she was in front of who was once her best friend, now one of her mortal enemies. Hatred burned in her eyes as she faced her former friend. "Prepare to die," she hissed.

Summer blinked as Krissie turned towards her. She must have spotted her, because in the next moment, Krissie was standing in front of Summer. Summer was surprised to see that Krissie's eyes were black... Summer ignored Krissie's threat/warning.

He watched the action with minimal interest. It looks like Krissie was here for Summer. So he decided if Krissie hurried and finished her off, they could go. Right now, he didn't have much to do. He knew one thing, though. That little couple scene off to the side was going to make him puke. Emotions again. People were better off without them, he would know.
He melted into the ground, then rose out of the ground directly behind Shade halfway. The ace card in his hand flashed bright green and then in its place was a sword. He pulled himself all the way out of the ground, and stabbed the sword at Shade's back.

Shade blinked as a green flash caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. He had enough time to turn and see the boy in the mask. Then everything flashed red as his blade slid into his back.
Shade coughed and bright scarlet drops splattered the grass in from of him. Everything began to fade around him. Darker, darker. Then there was nothing as he just went limp on the grass in front of Caroline. The blood pooling around him. His last words still lingered on his lips.
"Just don't touch her, Ace..."
