Terry flushed at his words. "Shut up, for the gods sakes! She has a boyfriend! It's Shade!" He snapped at him. Man, this kid was more annoying than he had anticipated.

"Oh! The gullible looking Roman?" Colton snapped his fingers as he remembered the kid he had met earlier. The hazel eyes kid had looked so small and shy. Too nice. "So these are the "friends" you said you would suicide for?" Colton laughed in amusement. "So not worth it!"

Terry blinked as Caroline's sword appeared. "Now wait a second..." He put a hand on her shoulder. "We're not gonna kill a new kid, no matter how annoying they are." He glares up at Colton.

Caroline blinked in surprise as Terry put a hand on her shoulder, and for a moment, was tempted to shove his hand off. Then she noticed that she was holding her sword. Where had that come from...? Whatever.
With an irritated sigh, she turned to Terry, eyes glimmering with annoyance. She didn't put her sword back. "Any why not?" Caroline demanded, only half joking as she faced the older demigod.

Terry noticed immediantly too. Even if a person teased him, he didn't get ticked off so easily. It was more than that. It was his personality and...was it maybe the aura around him he carried from his father? He was just...a dark figure, dislikable, maybe. He looked at Caroline, trying to get her t calm down.

Noticing Terry's look, Caroline sighed, and turned to Colton.
"I...I'm sorry," she said, though she would have apologized without the look too. She didn't know how they would react to her sudden change in mood.

Colton blinked in slight surprise. He had expected them to kick him out or something for fighting Terry and saying those traitorous words. He had expected Caroline to continue that glare. Wherever he went, he was used to being rejected and disliked. And it was because usually kids of Thanatos had an unpleasent aura around them. Add his cocky words to it, and it made him pretty unlikable.
So at the apology, he wasn't really sure what to say exactly. He usually would have said something like 'whatever', but he just shrugged. "Well, we good or no?"

Caroline had to suppress a smile. "We're good." She glanced at Terry for his reaction, then stuck out a hand for Colton to shake, if he wanted to. She had to give the kid another chance.

Colton just stared at the two, then the hand. He had never really made any friends. Being a rogue demigod was all about isolation. He thought for a moment before finally taking the hand with that cold smile of his and shook it. He looked at Terry then Caroline. "Well, I guess Ill get going. I've caused enough trouble today."
