Shade turned around at the sound of whizzing arrows. They were going insanely fast and he had just about stepped to the side to dodge, but he wasn't fast enough. One nailed him in the shoulder and he fell to the ground, blood pouring from the protruding shaft. The rest whizzed over his head. But he had seen a black haze cover up a tall figure from where the arrows had come from. Then the figure had disappeared with the mist. Was that shadow travel? No, whoever that was, there was no shadow in the place they had disappeared. Shade couldn't really focus. Because the arrow tip was stuck in his shoulder.

He noticed from his perch in a tree that the camp's were slowly evening out the battle situation. He jumped down from the tree, still tired after what he had done to put out the Greek fire. He absorbed the energy from the ground. A tree nearby died immediately with some grass. The tree let out a groan, and fell over right on top of some campers.
He gave the signal, and the second battle force of Gaea's army charged into the battle with a roar. He followed after, spotting Terra fighting Claycob. He launched himself out of nowhere in a spinning kick aimed straight at him to intercept his charge at Terra.

Terry watched as a ghost materialized as Shade grabbed it. As it disappeared, the thing that had been interfering with him had stopped too. That pretty much left him to put two and two together. Terry grinned, "Nice! Thanks, Shade-"
Then the arrows had come out of nowhere. On struck his friend and the shoulder and Terry's heart stopped once. He looked for the archer, not seeing anyone. He raced over to the son of Pluto. He visibly relaxed when he found him very much alive, but injured. "Hold on..." Terry's worried voice said shakily. He dug the bandages out of his pockets. Should he take the arrow out? Was it safe?

The arrows snapped Caroline out of her thoughts. One hit Shade in the shoulder. Good thing he had fallen, or the rest might have gotten him too. She swung her head around to see who had done it, but there was no one. She couldn't worry about that now.
She knelt down next to Terry, bringing out her own bag of ambrosia from her pocket, worry clouding her eyes.

Shade gritted his teeth at the stinging pain of the arrow. "S-sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Shade looked at Terry and Caroline, their eyes were worried, which made him feel a bit guilty for making them worry. If he had noticed earlier....

"It's not your fault," she insisted. Caroline glanced at Terry. "Should the arrow be removed now?" She was afraid that if they did, they wouldn't be able to save him. But if they didn't, and the arrow was poisoned...

"Hehe, I wonder who shot it..." Shade said, trying to make it seem okay. Even though it really hurt. But he didn't like seeing Caroline making that face.

Terry narrowed his darkened stormy gray eyes. "Whoever did this is gonna be dead soon." He muttered on reply. He studied the arrow. It was causing Shade a lot of pain, so it had to be poisoned. He was going to have to remove it. "Sorry bro, this is really going to hurt, but bear with it okay? I need you to hold still."
Terry didn't feel so good about treating it, but the Apollo kids were too busy. Shade would be in trouble by the time they got him someone. So he pressed against his shoulder with a bandage around the shaft. Then he yanked out the arrow and immediately put the bandage onto the wound.

Shade nodded. Terry's words were getting farther away. Like all the sound was fading. He felt like he had a fever. He felt really hot. When Terry pulled out the arrow, he jerked at the sudden pain and let out a small yelp.
Then the feeling like he was blazing in a fire began to fade. The poison had stopped spreading, that was for sure, but he still felt like crap.

Caroline flinched as Shade yelped. At least the arrow was out. "I'll run back to my cabin and get some nectar..." Caroline offered quickly.

"No, it's fine, I'll get to the infirmary myself..." Shade sat up with a small wince. Then he noticed it would probably worry them. "Well, I'll go with someone..." An Apollo kid hurried over and began to freak over the wound. He literally picked Shade up on his feet and started carting him away. "I'll be fine!" He called over to them. "You guys keep fighting!"

Surprised, Claycob didn't notice Ace's kick. Of course he couldn't feel anything, but regardless, he was sent flying. He was somehow dizzy, trying to get up. As he became aware of his suroundings, he ducked. An arrow zoomed over his head in a flash. Crap... he thought. Another wave. The explosion had only put a small dent in the fight. He had to construct a plan. Fast. Then he saw Ace and Terra. or hide?... he thought.

Terra stood up behind Second. She looked at him for a while, then relented. "Thanks, I'm leaving him to you." Then she disappeared into the crowd.

He noticed something odd about the boy the minute he made contact with him. He blinked from behind his mask. He knew that feeling. "Hey..you're made out of clay, aren't you? How convenient." He grinned at Claycob as he stood up.
He lifted his arms and a swirling mass of clay he absorbed from the earth began to rise around him. The ground underneath Clacob caved in a little from the missing clay. At the same time, he formed the clay around him into a long whiplike rope and swung it out at him.

Alec Matthews at this preceise moment appeared. He was once a toy of Gaea. Only joined because he wanted to prove to a friend how wrong the Earth goddess was. But now he was back where he belonged, at peace. Fighting with the camps. Sword ready he emerged from the shadowy forest. His green eyes the old brilliant laughing green. His blonde hair messy and too long for his liking. Looking at the battle he smiled a crooked smile. After leaving Geae he got lost, wandered around aimlessly before finally finding his way back home after a long period of time. Obviously he hadn't missed much, the last time he was here he was fighting once more with the camps against Gaea during her first attack.

Claycob gasped. The whip's tip peirced his chest, emerging from his back. Surprised, he didn't respond. The clay merged with his own as it dried, so he tried breaking it off. He fumbled looking for his knife, but to no prevail. He was at Ace's mercy.

Willow stood up, a shadow catching her eye before it disappeared. Oh well. Missing another demigod didn't make a difference. War. This is what made Draco die. Destroy them. Destroy them all. No! Straining, Willow put one hand on her head and looked around. And she spotted Alex. Alex? She rarely ever even looked at Alex, but right now Camp Half Blood needed all the allies they could get. Willow sprinted over to Alex, her hand still on her head, "What's your side?" She asked in a hurry. She looked behind her, to see a few demigods rapidly approaching.

(lol try across an ocean xD)
Alec looked at Willow smiling broadly. "I don't believe I've ever fought against the Camp," he said truthfully. During wars he either fought with the camp or not at all. Just because he joined Gaea to try to get people back didn't mean he actually fought against the camp.

Summer glanced around anxiously for someone to help her with Katie. She didn't know what to do with the daughter of Aphrodite. Then she noticed someone very familiar.
"Alec!" Summer blurted out his name without thinking. The last time she had seen him, it had been in the Wolf House. What if he was still in Gaea's army?

[Hehe. I used to do that, too. It was annoying.] Willow nodded briskly before spinning around with her drakon tooth and jumping onto one of the demigods-it was actually a girl that she once knew. She was nice. Willow shut out the thought and stuck her drakon tooth into the girl's throat. Plants grabbed Willow, this girl was Demeter's, but they died as soon as they touched her. She ran back to Alec, then saw Summer as well, "You wanna take him down? She motioned to the demigod rushing at them.
