Emmy waved her hand dismissively. "I mean it," she growled. "The roman gods are much more disicplined than the greeks, better fighters. Without their roman personality, this camp wouldn't exist. Without their roman personalities, they would be greatly weakened. Rome is far more important than Greece. As soon as Rome falls, Greece does too, because those weaklings need us to protect them. The gods would lose their more intelligent, warlike forms, and grow weak as well." Emmy ignored the booming thunder at this comment.
"Different forms matter a lot, Caroline Miller," Emmy spat, "and though we have to be 'united' against a common enemy, they're still enemy. Forget 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' shit." Emmy's eyes were glowing with fierce anger and determination. "Who the hell cares we're in their camp? If you think that means I'm about to bow down to some pathetic little graecus, than you're mistaken."

Caroline was shocked silent. "H-how could you say that, Emmy?" Even though it sort of made sense to her, a strange kind of logic. Emmy was right, wasn't she? The Romans were undoubtingly more powerful than the Greeks, and more disciplined.
"I-I gue-...I don't know." Caroline wasn't sure what to think now. But the Greeks were their friends! They needed to work together to defeat Gaea and save the gods! Isn't that what the prophecy had said?

Emmy looked triumphantly at the greeks. "I'm not the only one who thinks so." Her red eyes glittered. "Greeks are much to easy to manipulate. Isn't that true? Your dear friend, Krissie, isn't it? Daughter of a greek god." Emmy concluded her sentence, waving her arms around slightly, as if that made her point more clear.

"Well, many Romans have also joined Gaea!" Caroline objected. "And some were out of their own choice, with only a hatred of the gods!"
Caroline didn't know why Emmy was being so unreasonable right now, but she didn't like it. A new thought occurred to her. Maybe she was the one being unreasonable? "You know what, just....stop. Stop it. Can't we just get through this day without tearing each other's throats out?"

(Yeah, in the morning before school I snuck on using my iPod  ) "Maybe the demigods that joined Gaea are the reasonable ones," Emmy shot back. "They knew greeks and romans would always be enemies, and when they join Gaea, they'll have no better reason than to massacre the opposite camp." Emmy pointed her nose in the air. "If that's the situation, then they're the loyal romans, Caroline. Not you." (I got The Forgotten Warrior today! Sophia from my school lent it to me!  Spoiler Alert~ Hollyleaf comes back! ) |

Caroline was stunned silent, trying to keep the tears from coming. Emmy was really scaring her today. "How can you say that Emmy?" She swallowed painfully, then continued, "What's that supposed to mean? Are you going to j-join Gaea too?"

"Emmy!!" Caroline lunged forward, but it was too late, for her friend had already disappeared. The daughter of Neptune just stood there, looking at the floor, unable to say anything. Was it true? Was Emmy really going to join Gaea? Didn't she see how Gaea had been manipulating her half brother?
Finally, Caroline's gaze lifted and rested on the Greeks. "So, how are you?" Caroline asked wearily.

I looked back at Caroline. "Are you going to yell at me if I make a joke? Because if you are, I'm not answering your question. (I'm not sure if, in the end, Rachel is going to get into this whole arguement or not. I might just have her arguing now and thats it.)

Caroline had to admit that their cheery attitude all the time annoyed her sometimes, but that was no excuse. The two camps needed to cooperate to survive, right?

Jake's eyes narrowed, "Well if that's how it's going to be, better start looking at the catalogues of "Pink'n'Frilly" angel face."
(Jenna marbles reference... Oh and I'm talking about when Emmy said "The day Romans and Greeks get along will be the day I wear a pink frilly dress)
Nirvana made her swords vanish, "I can't believe I'm saying this," se looked around, a defy-me-if-you-want-to-get-fed-as-mid-day-snack-for-my-pet-piranhas look in her eyes. "We need to get along! We are the soul of the army against Gaea! If we're fighting among ourselves Gaea will have our skins a door mats. If we're having a mini civil war in this camp, Gaea will have no problem at all to take over us. In fact, I bet that's her whole plan. She'll lie in wait further perfect moment. That moment will be when the Romans are fighting the Greeks, or vice versa. We will be too busy attacking each othe to motor that she's moving in."
Her eyes had an urging and sincere gleam, "We NEED to get along." Nirvana glanced at Emmy, "And if not for us, we need to do it for the world. So many innocent people coup die just because we wouldn't work together and spent crucial hours fighting over pointless things."
(how proud would my social studies teacher be right now? Very.)

Caroline nodded firmly in agreement with what Nirvana said. "You're right. This is probably Gaea's plan. She's just waiting for us to fight, and when both sides are weakened, she just swoops in and takes over. We can't give her the satisfaction. We can't lead ourselves to our own doom."

Jake shrugged, "Answering your first question, I fuss I'm fine. Only thing hurt is my pride (he ignored Nirvana's "I was surprised when I learned you had a brain, and now you also have pride? This is too much news to handle all at once!") but that's not too important" he looked at Rachel wanting to ask if she was ok, but he decided against it. If he did ask then either Nirvana, Caroline, or Rachel would think that he liked her. And if Nirvana thought this... Oh god that could only end in tears.

Adara walked in. She saw everyone's somewhat angry but calming down faces. "Wait, what just happened? I'm so out of it." sighing she went and sat on her bed. "Jake, you look like you're about to die. Just so ya know." Adara helpfully informed him.

I rolled my eyes again. Gods, I'd been rolling my eyes a lot lately. "Dissagreement? We were literally about to kill each other." (my english class went christmas caroling during comet time today. We sang rudolph the red nosed reindeer.)
