Terry stood up, a bit wobbly on his feet. He had also caught the look Colton had given her. Terry wasnt too happy either. It looked like the unfriendly kid still needed some time. Terry let out a sigh. "Ill go with. I need to get a checkup too. Can we stop at the dining hall on the way there?" he added just for humor.

Caroline's face lit up in a smile again. Of course, leave it to Terry to balance the mood. "If you're serious, I can always visit later and bring you guys something," Caroline offered. That didn't sound offensive, right? Caroline sneaked a quick glance at Colton for his reaction, then focused back on Terry.

Colton didn't reply. His electric blue gaze was turned to the ground. Had his glare been too intense? Go figure, children of Thanatos were always seemingly cold, and didnt really didnt get along with other demigods, even more than the Hades kids. Colton just shrugged, "Do what you want, but I'm not stopping antwhere." he told Terry.
In truth, he was feeling really horrible. You could tell just by looking at him. He was paler than usual. He hadnt gotten the chance to heal, and a little nectar didnt do squat. He walked past Terry carefully, but his legs gave out from under him. Just his luck to prove Caroline right. He was actually in a dire situation. His life was dwindling fast Lreasy.

Luckily, Caroline had turned to Colton when he had started talking again. She didn't bother saying anything back, because he would just glare at her again, and was fairly surprised when Colton suddenly buckled. Caroline lunged forward and attempted to grab his arm before he did a face-plant in the dirt.

Terry reacted pretty fast for someone who had been locked up for more than a week. He grabbed Colton's other shoulder and helped Caroline steady the boy. "Hey! Are you alright?" he asked with a worried expression. He didn't care if it would earn him a glare from the son of Thanatos. He was in a bad condition. He must have been trying to hide his pain all this time.

Colton normally would have pushed both of them away and snapped at them, but he resisted the urge. He wasn't in the condition to be refusing help either. Right now, he was stuck between feeling embarrassed and angry. The son of Thanatos just managed to stand up straight, steadying himself by gripping onto Terry's shoulder. "Yeah, it's nothing." Colton managed to reply calmly. "Sorry." he added at the end, surprising even himself. Then returned and walked off towards the infirmary, not bothering to wait for Terry or they would see his embarrassed look.

Terry turned to give Caroline a look of puzzlement. Then he ran off after Colton to catch up. "Hey! Wait up! Don't be ridiculous, how are you fine?"

Caroline blinked in shock as Colton actually apologized. Now she was sure he wasn't fine. But it was kind of nice for him to say that once in a while. Caroline bounded after Terry and Colton, catching up to them and got in pace with Colton, walking next to him, in case he fell again.

Colton ignored both of them. He couldn't really hear them anyways. He could only hear his heart pounding in his ears. He felt lightheaded and dizzy. He pushed onward without a word. He wasn't going to embarrass himself again. He turned to eye Caoline who had caught up with them. He felt like telling her off. He felt like saying he was fine and that he didn't need either of their help. He kept his mouth sealed shut with some effort.

Caroline smiled brightly back at Colton. She wasn't going to let Colton's dark mood bother her. Caroline figured that Colton was just saying he was fine so they would possibly leave him alone, but didn't really mind. It wouldn't help anyone if someone had been injured by Gaea's army, and it really wasn't a thing to be ashamed of, especially if it was that masked boy, Cy, that had done it.
Remembering him reminded Caroline of Ace, which brought back painful memories.

Shade watched then walk off. He preferably liked to stay away from the son of Thanatos. The boy made him very uncomfortable. He stood up, deciding that he would return to his cabin.

Caroline glanced back after her shoulder at the son of Pluto, suddenly remembering that Shade was still there. "I'll see you later, okay?" Caroline smiled.

I looked around. It seemed as though everyone else had departed, so I headed back to my cabin. As I walked, I couldn't help but think, If this was so easy, who says that we can't pull through with this? Win the battle? And with that one thought, I suddenly had a little bit of hope. And maybe, just maybe, that little bit of hope could be the thing that kept us alive in that battle. Maybe...
