Shade landed in the clearing with a sigh, melting out from the shadows. He turned, pulling Caroline out after him carefully. Before he could do anything else, his knees bent on their own and he found himself on the ground. He smiled sheepishly and looked up at the daughter of Neptune.
"You alright?"
He asked her. He was pretty tired, using all of that power for the flame and this. Right now, he wasn't ready to rest though. Where were they? Willow? Rachel? Terry? Colton? Shade was almost beginning to panic.

Caroline smiled and offered a hand to help him up. "Yeah, I'm okay. Good job back there."
Caroline saw Shade's thoughts reflected in his hazel eyes, but didn't know what to say to reassure him, because she was wondering the same thing. Why wasn't Willow and the others back yet?

Willow appeared, holding everyone's hands. She smiled, "That. Was. Awesome." Willow removed her hand from everyone else's grip, and sat down, her legs straight in front of her, her quivering arms the only thing keeping her up. She chuckled at the fact that all of her energy was pretty much gone.

I looked at everybody. The mission had been a sucess. Everyone had come back alive. Injured, but alive. I relaxed a little bit, knowing that there was one less thing to worry about.

Shadow travel didn't help his pounding head. The minute they emerged from the shadows, Colton fell to the ground, rolling onto his back with a small groan of pain.

Caroline brightened at the sight of Willow and the others. "You're back!" They had made it after all.
She could tell that Colton wasn't in great condition, and wasn't surprised as he suddenly collapsed. Caroline rushed forward as Colton fell over, and pulled out a tiny bag of ambrosia squares. "Someone get an Apollo kid!"

Terry sat down the moment they got back. He wasn't a big fan of shadow-travel either. The sn of Minerva had uite the headache, but he bet Colton had a worse headache. "He was in the box too long. He needs time to detoxify the CO2. And rest. But anyway, I'm hungry." he grinned, "Can I have a potassium filled banana?"

I smiled a little bit. At least Terry's nerd humor hadn't changed. "Oh, bananas. I remember, once when I was a little kid, and a major idiot, I thought you were supposed to cut open bananas with scissors, and when I tried it, I sliced my finger open. And of course, it was just my luck to get the same finger stuck in a car door a week later(that's a true story, lol)... but I'm getting off topic. Well, the blood loss, plus the loss of oxygen, might've caused some things in his brain to malfunction, per say. Well, even if he had just been in the box, the sudden oxygen cutoff might've been enough to get him out of sorts." I frowned. It semed that I was the least injured out of everyone. Shade was tired from the distraction and shadow traveling, Willow was extremely tired from shadow traveling three people, Caroline had fought off three people at pretty much the same time, and Terry and Colton... they didn't even need an exscuce(sp.). I only had a injury from the arrow that had caught in my shoulder. I had gotten off lucky. "I should probably get an Apollo kid anyway , or at least some bandages For the cuts and stuff." I went over to the infirmary(or however you spell it). (It's funny because this was four parts: the iris message, telling people and forming the group, the actual rescuing, and coming back.)

Colton could still kind of hear them, and he was slightly offended by the fact that he was considered to have brain damage. He held up his hand, forming a thumbs-up.
"I am fairly positive that I don't have any kind of brain damage. I feel completely right in the mind, thank you very much." his scathing tone and sarcasm hadn't seemed to change at all. The son of Thanatos looked over at Caroline and spoke, his rapt voice not ver intelligible. "I would very much like ambrosia, but I think I would like some type of liquid way more than any solid, because I can't find myself swallowing food right now." his voice was somewhat humored.

Caoline looked at Terry, having to smile at that. He seemed to be the most unfazed person out of them, already back to his cheerful self. "There should be some left in the Mess Hall if you're lucky."
Caroline nodded in thanks at Rachel before announcing, "I'll get some nectar for Colton, then," and headed for her cabin, where she kept medical supplies for emergencies.

Shade sat up grumpily. He was tired.
"We got out alive, thats for the best. And Terry, how about I just get you an apple?"

"Apples aren't rich in potassium." Terry teased and stood up somewhat shakily. At least he could stand. The boy walked over to Shade and ruffled his hair like he always did. He knew that Shade didn't like it. "You should eat more bananas too."

Caroline returned with a canteen of the godly drink, and she carefully placed the bottle at Colton's feet. "Here you go. Need anything else?" Caroline's green eyes were shining with joy. Their mission had been successful. Even this little rescue gave her hope.

(Well, it's almost finals week. We're a bit inactive too. So when its all over, we'll do some advertising.)
Shade swatted at his hand in annoyance. "Stop it!" he protested grumpily, "You know I don't like that! And how do you have all this energy? Why don't you take Colton and go to the infirmary?"

(I might have a bit more time, my mom dosen't watch me too much anymore, cuz the science project is over and she's always out of the house. I'll probably be on a bit more.) I hurried back with the bandages. I got quite a few, just in case there where more injuries than we thought. "Okay! Who needs bandages?"

Colton gave Shade one of his cold glares with his winter blue eyes. His eyes were what gave him the trademark of Thanatos. They were what told the person they were looking at that he was one of death. He said nothing though. He nodded thankfully at Caroline and gulped some of the nectar down. It had been so long since he had drank or eaten anything. The sweet taste seemed to awaken his senses. He put down the canteen after drinking quite a lot. He didn't want to drink as much as he wanted to. Partly because it was too sweet for his mouth that hadn't tasted in a long time, and the fact that he might spontaneously combust into flames.
"I think I'm going to need to go to the infirmary. I don't need bandages, I need stitches." Colton commented as Rachel came back. He had gotten long cuts from Cy's sword across his back. They were going to get inected, and he was going to get blood poisoning at this rate.

Caroline immediately offered, "Want me to help you there?" Then, she realized that sounded like she thought Colton was weak. "Well, I know you can probably get there yourself, but..." Now Caroline didn't know what to say. "Er..."

Colton threw a nasty glare at Caroline. It was sharp like a knife, colder than ice. His blue eyes caught her gaze for a moment, then he looked down. "I'll go by myself." he muttered, in an obvious bad mood. He must've looked really weak right now, didn't he? That just made him pissed.

Caroline flinched away at Colton's glare. "Okay, if you want to." Maybe it was best if she didn't say anything else. Stifling a sigh, Caroline turned back to the others. "What are you guys going to do now?"

Shade had caught the exchange of looks between Colton and Caroline. He was about to say something rude, but he stopped himself, smothering his anger insatisfactedly. Caroline was offering to help him, and yet he had...
