Terry was sitting down by the lake, doing nothing in particular. It was rare to find the son of Minerva lazing around. Lately, after returning from being a prisoner at Gaea's, he had been recovering. It had been an order from the Apollo kids to stay inactive and not to work hard so that he could get better faster. He was pretty weak now, even his own staff seemed a bit heavy.
Terry held up his hand to cover the blinding sun and look up at the sky. The sky was so vast... The universe was pretty big if he thought about it, wasn't it? What if they hadn't rescued him? What if he had died? His friends would hae been so sad. Shade would probably have been devastated. If he looked at it in the world's prospective, his death would hae been insignificant. He was just a small factor. The human body was made up of simple compounds, hydrogen, oxygen, iron, pottasium, calcium, protein, and so on. He would have just been broken down to be a part of the world again. Terry let out a sigh. Just like everyone he had killed or involuntarily killed before. He wasn't so innocent himself, was he?

Colton was taking a walk, getting used to using his legs again. He had been unstable on his feet ever since he had gotten back. The son of Thanatos stopped by the lake, recognizing Terry sitting by the lake. He grinned deviously to himself. The kid seemed to be recovering too. Being fellow prisoners had made the two friends. Almost. Colton hadn't had a friend all his life. Maybe they should keep it at acquaintances.
Colton walked up to Terry and dispatched a swift kick at his back, maybe to knock him into the lake. His kick was weaker though, so maybe not.

"Gwaah!" Terry let out a yelp of surprise, grabbing onto the edge of the dock for support to keep from falling into the water. "Ouch..." the son of Minerva turned around with a glare at Colton. "What was that for?"

Colton gave Terry a cold grin. His reaction had been priceless. He wished he had been recording. The son of Thanatos took his sword in its sheathe off his shoulder by the strap. He set it down behind them and sat down next to Terry. "For getting your attention. So, what are you brooding about, nerdy boy with a banana complex?"

Terry grtted his teeth in annoyance. Colton really knew how to get under a person's skin. He sighed, "Nothing much, just trying to recover. I have to be ready. Gaea can return anytime." terry gave Colton a cautious look. "I thought you said you weren't going to help us. But you fought. And why was that fake Ace torturing you like that?"

Colton sat down nonchalantly as Terry started the conversation. As soon as the son of Minerva asked about fighting, he froze. He was always treated with hate, and he had never one friend. Willow had been different. So when he had seen her having trouble, he had acted without thinking. He couldn't tell him too much, or Terry would find out he had been a spy for Gaea. The son of Thanatos paled a bit at the memory of Cy digging his sword into jis back. He couldnt remember a time when he had felt so much pain. In truth, he was slightly scared of the kid now, and it infuriated him.
Finally, he spoke up with an icy cold voice, "Thats none of your business."

The question had gotten to him, Terry could tell. For some reason, that made him kind of satisfied. It also made him wonder if Colton knew the son of Gaea beforehand. He smirked and prodded him again with another question. "Don't tell me...You were a spy?" he meant it as a joke, not knowing that he really was.

Colton jerked the moment the question came out of the other's mouth. Colton turned to look at Terry with his icy blue eyes in a mixture of annoyance and wariness. He saw that Terry's amused gray eyes were just teasing. He hadn't meant it. Hopefully Colton's reaction hadn't been obvious. Hopefully it hadn't given anything away.
"Don't be ridiculous." Colton hissed in an angry reply. "That demented kid just likes to see pain." he turned away to throw a rock into the water in frustration. "How do you even fight someone that strong?"

brook wastaking a walk by the lake alone when she looked over to see two boys, one of then seemed tense. she wonderd if she should go say hi or not. she kept walking, if one of them saw her she would go over

Terry blinked at Colton. His reaction had been an odd one. Was that...fear? He hadn't actually nailed him, had he? The son of Minerva threw away the thought however. He knew that Colton wouldn't like it if he asked any more questions. Terry was trying to think of a way to start another conversation when he heard something move behind him. He turned around to see a girl. Any trained demigod would have noticed her. Being the friendly kind of guy, he waved her over. "Hey! You new to camp?"

Colton turned to recognize the girl. He had been trying to sleep the other day in the archery range. He hadn't known there was going to be someone there. There wasn't anyone there, lately. So she had consequently woken him up. Like usual, he had been a bad mood at the sudden wake up call. He didn't say anything, just turned back away to stare at the lake water. Shadows twirled around his fingers playfully, and they turned into flat obsidian pebbles. He threw them, skipping them off the surface of the lake water five to seven times.

Terry turned to eye Colton oddly. He didn't seem to be in the mood to talk. Here he was, being cold again. Well, Terry himself had put the other boy in a bad mood. The son of Minerva turned back to Brook with a sheepish smile. "It's nice to meet you, Brook. I'm Terry." He elbowed Colton sharply in the side to tell him to introduce himself.

Colton was still skipping stones, making some jump ten times. He hadn't expected the jab. "Ow! What is wrong with you?" He turned to glare at Terry with that shocking gaze of his. The boy pushed the other in the shoulder. "Seriously!" He shot an icy gaze at Brook. It was somewhat one of annoyance. He didn't do well with anyone, and didn't intend to.

"Heh." Colton let out a laugh of scorn at her reaction and soun a few more rocks off the surface of the lake. He let out a yawn and stretched. "You're not going to interrogate me anymore, right, nerd boy? I'll leave you with the color changing wonder if that's alright with you." Colton sighed, standing up.

that was it brook was done with this boy she turned aroung and punched colton full forse in the face, she used her powers so it left a rainbow fist print in his face "dont worry, it will go away in a day or two" she said angrly then started to walk away

(Powerplay, I know my character's a jerk, but I'm playing him the way I made him. So please remember the rules.)
Colton wasn't that easy to catch off guard. He had pretty much spent his whole life around more dangerous things. Well, a girl with a temperamental complexity with rainbows didn't count as dangerous. He blocked her hand easily, catching her small fist. He shook off his hand, eyeing the rainbow print. He wasn't one to hit girls, so he didn't retaliate. He grinned slyly at the print though. That was the first time he had seen that. "Do you carry acrylic paint with you? You should really keep that stuff bottled up, you know."

brook just took a deep berath and started to walk away. when she was pretty sar away she wistled, when here pegasus was there she got on it and started to fly away
