Grayson was in the middle of setting out plates of ambrosia. The arrivals needed them desperately. He was surprised at Terry's message, which was all too sudden, but he remained perfectly calm. Each new batch of kids that zipped in looked as bad as the one before. And what was worse was, he didn't see Terry yet. He hoped the kid wasn't getting himself killed out there. It had been so long since he had seen him. He had grown, and he didn't want their reunion to be between him and his friend dying.
The young Asian man set aside some bandages that were instantly whisked away by an Apollo kid to use. Honestly, he was glad there was an empty airspace field out back. All of them were resting there now. So many demigods that it shocked him. He had considered going to camp before, but now he had fended for himself pretty well on his own.

(Hehehe, surprise! Drama time!)
Okay, it wasn't the best idea to be following after Shade when he was shadow traveling. And it was definitely not the best idea to accidentally grab on to him as he shadow traveled. What was worst was, he was probably going to be shipped right into the middle of their camp. Oh, he was screwed.
Cy was utterly confused. He couldn't understand why he couldn't kill anyone he had tried to, and why he felt guilty about all the people that were dead already. His heart was hurting, quite literally too. And one emotion still hurt him even more than that. He wasn't next to Terra, and it hurt for some reason. Man, he was thinking like Ace...
"I've given you the gift of emotions. Enjoy them because they are mine. I've reversed roles with you. You will feel like a normal human being. Do you remember who you were in your previous life?"
Cy felt like snapping back at Ace, but he was silent instead. He looked down at the grass a bit in defeat. Emotions. So that's was they were. Wait...grass? He sat up, looking around to see him in the middle of the airspace, some campers staring at him in shock. They didn't really recognize him because he had lost his mask, but some others did, and exclaimed in confusion.
"Ace?! He's alive?! What..."
Oh boy. Panic time.

Shade couldn't even move now. His senses were jumbled and quite frankly, paining him. Sound swirled around chaoticly over his head, making him almost sick. His eyes were open, but all the light and colors were bent nauseously. He tried to move, but found himself shivering momentarily, on, off, on and off again. His senses cleared somewhat for a moment, and he coughed painfully, seeing a blonde kid above him looking utterly confused. He was just as confused because he was feeling sick and tired. Crap all that shadow traveling...

"Shade!" Caroline's joyful voice rang out from over the airspace as she spotted the son of Pluto. Caroline darted over to greet him, nearly knocking over an Apollo kid with supplies. "Sorry." She frowned when she realized he probably couldn't hear her. She didn't even know if he was still conscious. "I'll get an Apollo kid..." The daughter of Neptune's eyes narrowed as she spotted the Ace-look-alike. It's him!! "You!!" Not him again! "What are you doing here?" Caroline drew her sword, ignoring the surprised stares the other demigods were giving her. They obviously didn't know who he really was. But she remembered the talk with Terra at the lake before the daughter of Ceres had joined Gaea.

Cy stared down at Shade, who looked so sickly pale. An image flashed through his mind, the kid that had first greeted him with a name. No, those were Ace's memories. He remembered everything now, and who he was. Now he just felt very sick, like he was going to turn as green as the grass he could control.
His thoughts were interrupted by a voice, and he turned to see Caroline Miller, daughter of Neptune, march over. Another memory of her helping him up after being pounded in the arena by some Ares kids. No, again, Ace's memories. Cy felt horrible knowing what the first son of Gaea had been through. And he knew he wasn't actually a son of Gaea. He was an already deceased spirit taken from the underworld. His "mother" wiped his memories, and transferred him into Ace.
"Uhm..." Cy stared at the sword as if it intimidated him, which was an expression he never had. After seeing all the killing and feeling all the guilt and sadness from his new emotions, it was a bit too much for him. He had pretty much lost his appetite for fighting at the time being. "I'm...well..."
"What do I do?" He had no choice but to go inside and ask. "Erm, wow, you're in a tight spot. Here, let me out and I'll explain it." "What? Let you take control again? It's so uncomfortable locked back in there." "Yeah, I know, how do you think I feel?" "Oh, that makes sense, I guess..."
There was a small rumble as his tattoo flashed a bright green, and his cyan eyes flickered, suddenly switching like a slide into a bright green the color of spring grass. His voice wasn't as tight or stressed sounding. It was kind and relaxed. "Uh...Caroline, put down your sword, I can explain...After we get Shade up. It's Ace, Ace, remember?"

Caroline's brow furrowed at Cy's expression, like he was uncomfortable because of the precense of her blade. As far as she knew, he wasn't one to have emotions at all. "What are you talking-" Caroline abruptly cut off as a green flash caught her eye. It was the tattoo, identical to Ace’s, that stated they were Gaea’s sons. Well, not exactly sons, but… Cy’s pale blue eyes were replaced by green pools filled with life. Ace! Caroline gaped at him, then stupidly shut her mouth. She had known that they had been fighting for control of the body, so didn’t expect for Ace to appear, seemingly without any struggle. In astonishment, Caroline obeyed, sliding her sword back to its place. In the surprise of Cy/Ace appearing, she had almost forgotten about Shade. She mentally slapped herself, then took a handful of his shirt and gently tugged, other hand pulling on his arm. Caroline wasn’t sure how to help a person up while they where in a condition like this; she hadn’t exactly been trained.

"Um..." Ace stared awkwardly, not being able to describe the feeling he had seeing her again. Shade as well. So this was what it felt like without emotions. It was...weird. He turned and helped her with Shade. "Here...You go get Terry and Summer. I'll take Shade to the pavilion. Tell Terry to get his friend to arrange a private place. We need to talk."
(I'll make the thread real quick.)

Caroline beamed at Ace, for the first time glad that Cy had followed them. She had been depressed when he'd sacrificed himself to save Terry. She glared at him again when he told her to go. "But..." Caroline shut up. Arguing wasn't going to help anything. "Fine," she huffed, "take care of him," she told Ace. Then Caroline rushed off to find them.
