A new beginning. He liked those words. Ace smiled up at the light blue sky, his ace card in sword form, lying at his side. He let out a small, but satisfied sigh. Life was going as it was. He had his life back to begin with. His spring green eyes matched the grass in the field. He was probably the only one content here. He had to admit that the situation was bad for the camps, but he didn't feel that. He was ready anytime. He felt so pumped, full of energy. That wasn't a good sign, the though nagged at the back of his mind. It meant Gaea had an unlimited resource of power. That was what he was experiencing.
"Wow, you get the free time to do anything you want, and you're just sitting here?" Cy's voice sounded in his mind, sounding irritated and twitchy. the son of Thanatos had been adjusting to his new emotions, while Ace adjusting to his lack of them.
"Well, yeah. It's nice out. Haven't you ever relaxed before? Look, the sky's really blue. Just like your eyes." Ace replied cheerfully, laying back.
"No, I wouldn't know because I spent my life with danger at pretty much every corner." Cy replied sarcastically, but lightened up. "Sure, I guess it's nice..."
"You see? Learn to take it slow." Ace laughed, staring up at the wide blue territory with puffy white clouds. The spring breeze blew over him. If it wasn't for their impending doom and the fact that Gaea was taking over the world, he would actually be super happy.
