Colton let out a small sigh from the shadows in the tree he was hiding in. He had been bored, hiding along with the other few survivors of the last battle. Or so he thought they were the last survivors.
The son of Thanatos let out a bored sigh, pushing around some ghosts that floated around the Gaea guards, pushing them once in a while, making them puzzled. He smiled wryly to himself. He still hadn't changed at all, except for the fact that he was slightly more quiet. He wondered if really no one else had survived. The memory of Steven floated into his mind, and he closed his eyes.
Colton turned at a slight sound that gave someone away. He knew he did in on purpose in case he thought he was disturbing him and wanted him to know he was there.
"You don't have to be so quiet, Tyler."

"You know teasing them isn't good. You could end up having them notice us." Tyler replied. The one eyed boy slipped out from the trees. "Besides, you're not fully healed yet. We should get back." He stared at the boy that he had managed to become friend's with over the span of time. He had dragged himself across the battlefield, healing his shoulder where Jacob had stabbed him.
Tyler had found the son of Thanatos trying to sit up, his wound looking horrendous. It was going to leave a mark, adding to the many scars he already had. He had seen them when he was healing him. He had gone around searching for survivors, reviving the few that were alive. And that meant them three. Colton, Cole, Andy, and him. They barely knew each other, but did it matter? Now they did.

Colton scoffed, turning to give him his unfriendly glare to show he was fine, but it was less harsh than it used to be. He still didn't like being ordered around, but he knew Tyler was right. He resummoned the ghosts to his side, and they melted away to leave the confused Gaean guards to straighten themselves out.
"What about you? Your injuries were almost worse that time. Besides, Yo should really get an eyepatch. That ruined eye of yours is disgusting to look at." The Thanatos spawn's voice was less venomous, but still not pleasant. Tyler should have gotten used to it by now.
"Fine, lets just go back." He stood up with a small huff, wincing a little as his side tensed some. He could deal with it fine. The Gaea soldiers were so stupid. They didn't even notice that the few survivors were living right in their own backyard, quite literally. He jumped down from the branch, landing a little unsteadily, but then walking off, not even bothering to check if the son of Apollo was following. It didn't look like it, but he was actually good friends with him. After all, he owed him his life. All of them did.

Tyler let out a small sigh, raising his hand to his scarred eyelid. He couldn't he'll but feel slightly self conscious at Colton's words, though he knew he didn't mean it.
"Hey!" He jumped down, following Colton back to their little hideout.

Andy was coaxing the fire. The smoke was being held back by a cover so that they wouldn't be noticed. He set some rabbits over it, and turned at the sound of approaching footsteps. He had been a Gaean soldier, but hadn't forgotten how Zeke had spared his life. He had run away to hide, surprised by Cole in the forest who looked so close to dying. He had picked him up and helped him into the clearing, only to find that two others were still alive. Luckily Tyler had been alive. He had healed Cole.

Cole yawned, sharpening his dagger after cleaning it in the grass. He had finished skinning the rabbits and turned as Colton and Tyler returned. "You found him. Were you messing without he soldiers with your ghosts again, Colton?" He smiled at the son of Thanatos, turning back to Andy with his joking smile.

Colton entered the clearing, looking around to find that Andy had already started cooking the rabbits he had caught the other day with his snares. The animals were kind of stupid in this forest. Being the oldest of them all, he was supposed to lead them, but he had ended up spending most of the morning playing around. It didn't matter. They could take care of themselves, so it was fine.
"Shut up, Cole. They deserve it. I hate traitors." Colton said it somewhat quietly. He was speaking his mind, but he knew it would make everyone uncomfortable. They all used to be for Gaea. He was the only camp survivor, or so he thought. He hadn't given up on searching for others, though. "We're going to get moving tomorrow. I heard some of their soldiers say something about searching for survivors. If they find any, we will get there along with them."

They all tensed at his last sentence a little, but they let it go. They all knew now that what Gaea did was wrong. Tyler's goal was to find that boy named Jacob and apologize for killing Keith. Cole wanted to find Caroline and Shade just to say that he was fine now. Andy wanted to see Zeke and thank him for saving his life. Their goals would be achieved now since they had disappeared. They were likely already dead, but Colton who was leading them refused to believe that.
They all blinked at his comment about the chance for survivors. "Aye aye, Captain!" Andy grinned, and they all smiled. Tyler walked over, pulling out a role of bandages they had taken from the CHB's infirmary. He rolled them over his blinded eye with a small smile. "I don't have an eyepatch, but this'll work, right?" Cole shrugged, walking over to check the rabbits. They were done, and he pulled them off the spits. "Time to eat, guys. He cut the legs off the rabbit with a dagger, holding one out to Colton. "Here. Let's all just eat our fill before we go."

Colton noticed he had made them all uncomfortable after all, but he always spoke his mind so bluntly, and he wasn't going to change that. He stretched, checking his bandaged side. It was healing, but not as fast as it would have with better supplies. Tyler was doing his best, though, and he appreciated that.
The son of Thanatos rolled his electrical blue eyes at Andy with a small smile. He threw a skeptical look at Tyler. The son of Apollo was skilled with bandages, but it was funny to see them over his eye. He had gotten used to the scar some time ago. Jacob had gotten him pretty well. If it were Colton, he would have been ticked off, but the kid wanted to see Jacbo to apologize for some reason. The idea ridiculed him. He strolled over to Cole as the rabbits finished. He took the plates they had gotten from the camp and split up the food. Colton accepted the leg with a smirk.
"Thanks." That one word of gratitude slipped from him, and it was rare that he thanked anyone at all. He usually just nodded. He had begun to open up after all.

Tyler open his bag, digging through his stuff. "Alright, enough talk, it's your turn first, Cole. I need to see those stitches and how they're coming along. I think they're about ready to be taken out."
Everyone except for Andy had been wounded to the point of near death. Tyler had been busy for a while, keeping himself conscious and alive while healing both Colton and Cole. Now, he had taken turns checking Cole and Colton.
Cole turned from Colton, pouting, "Do I have to?" But he knew the routine, sitting down in front of the sun of Apollo and taking off his shirt, revealing the long cut that Shade had given him across the back. Tyler had done a lot of complaining healing this cut. Apparently, it was hard because the flames along the blade had given him burns as well.

Colton smirked at Cole, watching as the son of Demeter made him way to sit down in front of the Apollo kid smugly. Colton had healed faster than him, and he was proud of it. He bit into the rabbit leg, chewing thoughtfully as he stared at the three.
"It's in the mortal world, you know. They were blurting out the directions out loud. I guess we can just leave before them. I'm going to pack my stuff. You should too, Andy. Stop trying to look busy." He smiled and finished off his food, heading back towards his little makeshift tent.
