It was located in half of a large strip of trees along the edge of the field, far from the Sword Fighting Event also taking place. Racks of paintball guns and goggles were set in a line, announcing the border between the paint ball territory and the capture the flag game, that was also taking place. There were two teams: red and blue. The objective? To hit the other team with paintballs. When you were hit by a paintball, you fell to the ground, and you were out of the game until a teammate taps your shoulder, but you only get 3 lives, so can only be revived thrice. Last person standing in the teams won the game. The Greeks were red, and the Romans blue. At least there were trees to duck behind, bushes to hide in, and... well, don't wear your favorite outfit. So get ready, on your mark, GO! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rules ------------------------------------------------------ 1. No dodging everything, 2. No powerplaying, godmodding, the usual. Google them if you don't know the meaning. 3. Again, word minimum 30.

Jessie and I walked to the paintball station. We weren't sure wether to wait or not, so, after a debate, we decided to just grab the guns and goggles and make a break for it, as we were both on the same team. At least we both had the good sense to dress down, I thought, seeing as we were both wearing mud-spattered clothes. Jessie and I headed into the forest and hid behind trees near the rack of guns and glasses, waiting for an oponent to show up.

Ace had already taken his position with his gun. He smiled evilly to himself, checking to make sure the blue tag was still on him for the Romans. He frowned as Rachel and Jessie approached, knowing that they were his enemy. He wouldn't want two against one, so he waited as they disappeared.
Terry hid in the brush, his blue tag showing clearly off of his brown clothes. He didn't like the marker, but it gave him his teammates. It was clearly begging for him to be seen, though. Catching sight of something red would be easier, though, so he hadn't complained. He shifted with his gun, spotting Rachel and Jessie. He smiled and slipped through the trees, taking aim at his half sister and firing.

( I was just checking your post, Emily. You said the teams were red and green, but then you said they were red and blue. It seems we're going with blue. Still, fail. XD)
"Look out!" Jessie hissed at me. Barely thinking, I ducked, a bright blue paint ball firing at me, missing my ponytail by a hairline, literally. I turned, alarmed, to see who had shot it. I thought I spied someone behind a tree, but I wasn't sure... "Let's go." I whispered, slinking through the trees, Jessie following behind. I checked back to make sure nobody was following us.

Ivy appeared, silent as always. Her hair was tied back in a bun, and she wore an old pair of jeans, and t-shirt, knowing she'd probably get dirty. Grabbing a paint gun, and goggles, she slipped them on, as well as her greek red tag.
She hid behind a tree, surveying the scene before she jumped into the action. Being a daughter of Athena, games like this were her specialty.

(Yes, it is indeed a fail.)
Caroline wore her usual light blue t-shirt and shorts, so her marker blended right in, though it meant she was obviously on the blue team. She had plenty of the same shirt, so she didn't really care. When she made sure no one was paying too close attention to her, she darted over and stopped next to Terry, her gun ready, aiming out, hoping she hadn't miscalculated her position and would just end up hitting a branch instead when she pulls the trigger.
"Do you have a plan, genius boy?" Caroline half-teased. She could barely hear her own words, but she spoke close to Terry's ear. Her eyes flickered around, searching for allies as well as the Greeks.
-----------------------------------------------
Summer dressed in some old rags, a green blouse from years ago that still fit her and the tattered remains of a pair of jeans. The daughter of Zeus had cautiously perched herself in a tree, cleverly hidden by the tree's thick blossom of leaves from most angles, and peaked out between branches. Already, she had set her eyes on Ace, and couldn't help but smirk at the back of his head. It was a perfect chance, and if she were lucky, she could have time for three chances to fire at him before he turned, though the whistling from the paintballs soaring through the air would be a dead giveaway. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
(xD, well what sound does paint balls make?)

(Well, the shot's kind of loud...)
Terry ducked behind a tree as Rachel whirled around. He grinned back at Caroline fro his cover, and out a finger to his lips. Why not go with stealth? When he was positive the two Greeks had passed them, he replied quietly, "Why don't you pair of with Shade, Lover Girl?" He joked back.
"I guess we can just try following them and get one of them out." He told her with a shrug. He really didn't think coming up with strategies would make this game any more fun, which was kind of the purpose. So here he was, trying to have fun.
(Clearly we need more Romans, so Ace shall be blue now, I guess.)
Ace spotted Ivy not far off. He caught sight of her red tag and raised his gun. He took careful aim, having mild experience with these things, and shot a paintball straight at her back. As it whistled through the air,he made sure to duck behind the bush.

Ivy heard the whistle of the paintgun, and instantly hit the ground, whirling around with her own paintgun. But whoever had shot it had ducked away. Narrowing her eyes, she hid herself behind the tree, deciding to play it safe for the moment.

Jeremy ducked heaving the gun off his shoulders. Squinting through the sunlgiht he flicked his wrist, hand in postion. His index finger wrapped around the trigger, then aiming carefully he pressed the trigger, sending red paint flying at a tree near by. He was still getting used to the gun.. he wasn't anygood at long ranged shots. He quickly moved, telporting to the other side of the feild. Ducking under bushes, he spotted a blue tag, Terry. Jeremy imediatly recognized the son of Minerva as he took aim. Sending another wad of paint, flying in his direction.

"Aw, shut up," Caroline responded good-naturally, not being able to help the grin that spread across her face at the mention of him. "Besides, I don't see him anywhere," she added. Shade didn't seem like someone who would miss this type of game to her.
"I'll go out into the open and just run, and try to figure out where they're all hidden, and you cover me," Caroline suggested. Just then, there was a loud noise, and in the corner of her eye, she noticed something streaking towards them. "Terry, watch out!" The daughter of Neptune quickly scrambled to the side, out of the way of the paint.

(Sorry! Been busy)
Shade ducked behind a tree, shadow traveling about to look for opponents. Terry and Caroline were making a sufficient about of noise for him to detect them. He grinned sneakily, just as the shot burst from the trees. Shade aimed at Jeremy and returned with two consecutive shots of his own.

Terry cooked as Caroline schreeched the warning. As he dove behind some bushes, another gunman shot at Jeremy. He turned to see Shade crouching behind tree and grinned. "About time you decided to show up, quiet one." He followed his lead and shot a paintball at his attacker.

Summer narrowed her eyes at the paintballs all aimed towards Jeremy. Double-teaming? Propping her paint ball gun up, she fired a few rapid shots towards the direction the first paintballs had come from. She didn't care if Jeremy hadn't needed her help, being the stubborn pain he is.
Caroline left the boys to attack Jeremy, and looked around for her own opponent. Out of the corner of her eye, something moved, and she snapped to attention in that direction. She couldn't make out who exactly they were, but the two red tags gleamed just fine. (In case you couldn't figure it out, it's Rachel and Jessie.) Caroline sent a volley of shots towards their direction.

As she watched paintballs go flying, Ivy looked around for her next oppenent, careful to stay hidden in the bushes. She spotted Caroline sending several shots towards Rachel and Jessie. She raised her paintgun, took aim, and fired, instantly making sure she was well hidden again.

At the familiar sound of shots, even though she wasn't quite sure where they came from, Caroline instinctively ducked under her cover, heart pounding at the sudden noise, and didn't lift her head again until she heard the splat announcing it was safe. She turned, and there were a few bright spots on the tree behind her. Crap. That was close. Someone knows where I am. She cautiously glanced out at the direction where the shots had been sent from, but saw nothing.

Jeremy ducked as the paint balls slammed against a tree near him. Paint splattered, as Jeremy jumped out of the way as another paint ball almost got him. Picking up is gun, he sent a paint ball towards Shade. He was definetly out numbered. Jeremy focused hard as he created a clone as both of them fired.

Shade dove to the side as a paintball flew his way. "Clones, Terry. Be careful." He warned his friend, sending a few shot of his own at one of them. "Try the one on the right, I'll try the left one." He couldn't tell the two apart at all.

Ivy spotted activity off to her right, and glancing that direction, she saw paintballs flying. Taking aim, she fired a few times, ducking as a paintball soared over her head.
