Gail walked into her new home. She was alone, she assumed that her half-brothers and sisters were doing arts and crafts or something; or maybe she didn't have any half-brothers or sisters. It was hard to tell since she hasn't been here for a single day. She was suprised about how many children the Greek gods and goddesses had; but of coarse, she was suprised that the Greek gods existed (She was even more suprised that their was a 600th floor of the Empire State building, though).
Anyway, no one had said hi yet. Heck, no one had said a word to her. Maybe they were all trying to focus on their volleyball game or something. But of coarse, she was quite happy that none of the Ares kids had snuck a glance at her; she knew what their father was like, and she couldn't imagine his kids to be any different.
All the not being noticed stuff was almost as supprising as the 600th floor of the Empire State Building, because of the fact that Gails blue hair really stood out in a crowd of reds and brunettes.

Crystal opened the door. "Hiya! Heard 'bou the new camper." She paused. "Actually would'a got here eariler but nearly fell in lava getting here. And then I had to change." She grinned again, taking a breath after her long fast stream of words.

She paused for a second. "one."

She brushes past Summer, her hair dripping with lake water. She had fallen in chasing Shade. Again. The dog pants happily by her side.
"Her, Summer." she says, pushing open the door. She flounces in, stopping in front of her bed. About a week ago, she had snuck out to buy some stuff, and it sits in a large trunk, also new, at the foot of her bed. (In case you don't know why she had no stuff, she ran for her life without being able to pack.)
She stops, a towel rescued from the depths of the trunk halfway to her head. She turns slowly. "Hello." she says to Gail.

"Errgh, hey their, people." she glanced around the small room. They were all blondes, she noticed. Maybe the gods and goddesses liked blondes. "Are you all Apollos children?" she questioned. It would be strange if she had to sleep in the same cabim with three other people. Of coarse it was only three kids, but Gail needed personal space, that's why she loved the country so much. Suddenly Eagle flew to the top of Dawns head and attempted to make a nest. "Gah!" she gasped. Eagle was usually so well behaved, theirfor, Gail was in a minor shock.

She laughs, a small, tinkling jingle. "That tickles!" She allows the bird to stay on her head, then answers Gail's question.
"No. Just me, some other guy I don't know's name, and my sister, Luna. Full sister, I mean. Same mother, as well as father. I'm Dawn, by the way." She nods to Crystal, then Summer, still standing outside of the door. "That's Crystal, Daughter of Poseidon, and Summer, Daughter of Zeus. And you are?"

"My name is Gail. Gail Larpin, daughter of Apollo and Frida Larpin." she mentioned. "I hope Eagle isn't being bothersome, she's usually so well behaved." Eagle had now almost completed her nest made out of Dawns hair, located on Dawns head. "So, uh, who's your mortal parent?" Gail asked. She was a curious person, as you can most likly see.

"It's no bother, really. I've got a few pets, so I know how it goes." Slightly eerily timed, Shadow trots through the door and curls up on Dawn's bed. His black wings form a sort of blanket around his sleek body.
"See?" She gives a sort of half-smile, then turns to the Pegasus.
"Shadow! You know you're supposed to stay in the stable."
I know, but it's lonely there. He replies in Dawn's head. He knows only she can hear him.
"Deal with it." she softens, never one to hold a grudge. "You can stay here for now, though."
Thank you.
"No problem."
She turns back to Gail. "Sorry about that."

"That's okay. I know I only got here a half hour ago, but I have a horse too. She's the white one with emerald green mane and tail. Her name's Emeraldsa I reckon his name is Shadow?" she looked at the small baby pegasus, and a grin formed on her face. He looked like a really good companion, not that Emeralda wasn't. He just seemed so optimistic. And cute, of coarse. "You apparently have a fine horse."

"He's great. Truly, I didn't want to have a pegasus." Before Shadow can protest, she adds a hasty, "No offense." She turns back to Gail. "Apollo led me to him. Didn't really have a choice. Heights aren't my thing. I haven't seen Emerelda, but she sounds pretty."
Realizing she is still dripping, she remarks, "I've never met a bird who likes a wet nest."

"Uh, yeah. She likes being clean so. . . I think you get it. I think Shadow's asleep." Gail looked at the horse, his head looked like it was tucked under the wing, but it was hard to tell since she was one solid color.

As if to disprove the girl, Shadow raises his head and looks around the room.
"I'm not sure lake water is the cleanest substance known to man, but if the bird likes it, she likes it." Dawn shrugs.

Gail nodded her head. "Eagle likes almost everything that doesn't have to do with titans or the underworld, exept for maybe snakes and carnivores that eat birds."

"I wish I was that trusting." she remarks ruefully. "I don't trust anyone completely. Not even Luna."

"Why not? I mean, I don't trust everyone either. I walked from Pennsylvennia to here because I didn't trust the bus or taxi drivers, but why your own sister?"

"It's hard to explain. Luna and I are as close as two people can get, but no one knows who I truly am." She sneezes, ruining the moment.
"I had to leave my mother to die. Do you know how hard that was for me? She told me to run. And then she was torn apart. Because of me. I don't even know who, or what, killed her. Or why. All I know is that someone took her away from me. And that someone is going to pay."
"I ran across the country. Literally. I slept on the ground. I survived on what I could find, or steal. I had nothing, nothing but Shade." Her voice shakes with emotion, and she swallows hard. She wants to spill everything, to let it all out, but she can't. No one would understand.

I listened silently. "I thought you and your sister was so close that you guys knew everything..."

(Yeah, I'm just special like that. I can make people speechless!) "We were. But…" She sighs.
