Kurochi ran up to the cabin and knocked on the door. It was dark but he need someones help. "Dawn. Please answer...." He muttered taking a few steps back watching the door.

Dawn pulls open the door, tugging on a robe. She rubs her eyes with one hand, then sees Kuro. "Kurochi! What are you doing out so late?"

"Dawn! I need your help." Kuro said looking at her with worried eyes. "Someone took Kiyoshi." He said his eyes showing he had no time to waist but he didn't want to go after his brother alone.

"Let's go." She steps out into the night, barefoot and in pajamas. The door swings shut behind her.

"Thank you." Kuro said as he took a few steps away from her and muttered something under his breath. Blue flames went around his body and he disappeared. Replacing him was a black horse with a blue flame mane and tail. Its eyes where a bright blue. "Get on." It said softly to her.

She doesn't ask any of the questions floating around in her still half-asleep mind, knowing a moments hesitation could mean death for Kiyoshi. She clambers onto Kurochi-horse's back, entwining her fingers in the coarse black fur.

"Hold on. If you feel like your going to fall off just tell me." Kuro said to her calmly before cantering off the way he caught Kiyo's scent.

She nods, then realizes he probably can't see her. "I will." she says, relaxing into the rhythm.

He saw her nod from the corner of his eye and started to speed up a little, easily following the scent. He turned a few times passing most of the buildings and ended up at the lake. He slowed down and looked around.

"His scent just disappears from here..." Kuro said sniffing the floor a little then looked around again. "Try to find something that is out of the ordinary..." He said looking off to the right. To his fare right a small silver flame was on a branch, it didn't burn anything, just sat there.

She slithers off, hunting around in the trees. She passes by the flame, stopping as a thorn pokes her foot. She looks right, and there it is.
"Kuro!" she cries. "I found something!"
The pain is forgotten, pushed out of her mind like it didn't even exist.

Kuro walked around sniffing the floor then looked up at her call. He trotted over to her then shifted into his human form. He looked at the flame and smiled. "Way to go Kiyo..." He chuckled softly as he touched the silver flame. It jumped on to his hand and pointed the way with the tips of the fire.

"Nothing to do now but follow the fire." she says with a light smile. It's nice to have a guide, even if that guide is a silver flame that burns nothing. She waits for the boy to move, knowing he can probably read the message from his brother better than she can.

Kuro nodded and started to walk a little then stopped. He knew he couldn't let Dawn walk barefoot but he couldn't shift because he need to hold the flame. "Get on my back." He said looking at her as he moved the flame to one hand.

Without asking, she moves around behind him. Dawn complies with his latest request, jumping lightly onto his back. It's a good thing I'm short… she thinks, hoping her weight wasn't too much to carry.

Kuro stayed still until she got on his back. He went straight to a run following the flames directions. He didn't have a problem runing with her on his back and she wasn't heavy at all. Compared to his brother who was the same size as him, she was very light. He ran smoothly even with the rough terrain.

She watches the landscape flash by, wondering where they could be going. Certainly not too far, she hopes.

He slowed down when he got to the border line. "This can't be right...." He said looking around, the flame in his hand was flicking like a normal flame would. "What do you think?" He asked glancing at Dawn.

"We should check around here first, then keep going past the border." she replies, dropping to the ground.
