"Alright." Kuro said looking around carefully. As she got off Kuro's back a loud cracking sound happened under them. Kuro looked at the floor curiously and knelt down. He brushed some leaves away reviling a old large wooden door, cracks appeared on it slowly. "Crap... Don't make any sudden movements..." He said getting slowly.

She steps carefully away from the oddly placed door. Standing on more stable ground, she asks, "Why is there a door leading into the ground?"

"I don't know..." Kuro said as he slowly walked off the door. The flame jumped out of his hand and landed on the door making it brake underneath the soft touch. The ground that Kuro and Dawn where standing on shifted a little thanks to the earlier rain and slid toward the hole in the ground. Kuro quickly lost his balance thanks to the muddy ground.

She falls as well, slipping wide-eyed with terror into the hole. Her scream floats eerily in the night air.

Kuro quickly grabbed on to Dawn and pulled her close to him, he made sure she didn't land on the floor but on him. Once they hit the floor Kuro flinched slightly. He looked at her. "You ok?" He asked her with a soft voice.
The silver flame was right next to them, waiting.

"A bit, well, a lot terrified, but physically I'm fine." She holds him tightly, not trusting her jelly-like knees enough to stand.

"It'll be ok. We just fell a few feet..." Kuro said looking at her with worried eyes. He moved a little then stood up. He held her bridle style calmly. He opened his hand again and the silver flame jumped back on to his hand. It pointed to a tunnel that was behind them.

She allows herself to be carried, her arms srapped around Kuro's shoulders. "Into the tunnel we go." she says, trying hard to hide the tremor in her voice.

Kuro nodded slightly and started to walk forward. He looked into the dark tunnel, his eyes glowing a bright blue. He could see further into the tunnel a little. He held her tightly, unsure of what was ahead of them.

She shivers slightly, more at the fear than cold. Her eyes strain to see, but nothing farther than a foot or two in front of her face is visible.

The tunnel ended and they ended up in a large room. It was completely dark, the only light was the silver fire. Kuro looked around quietly then spotted something moving slightly, then a loud screech from a monster went through the quiet air. Kuro took a step back as normal fire went through out the room, lighting it up quickly.

She suppresses her yelp, staying silent, looking around as the flame briefly illuminates the room. She doesn't get to see much, but instantly she recognizes the dull shine of melting ice from a large pillar of the stuff near the center of the room.

Kuro jumped out of the way of the creature as it attacked. A soft evil chuckle rang through the air. Kuro looked toward the direction it came from. Another burst of light happened and a figure wearing a black cloak was standing close to the melting ice.

She drops to the ground, knowing that agility would be increased with hands free. She frees her dagger from its sheath, shooting across the floor toward the figure. "Who are you?" she demands.

The figure didn't answer but chuckled evilly again. He put his hand out to the side, flames and darkness went around it quickly and formed a sword.
Kuro glanced at Dawn before dodging the creatures attack again. Blue flames went around his hands forming into daggers. He quickly went to attack the creature.

She glares at the thing, her weapon flying from her hand toward its head. She doesn't know if the dagger will hit or miss, just wants it to die, whatever it is. The ice scares her a bit as well. Why would there be a large block of ice underground?

Kuro dodged the dagger Dawn threw and it did hit the creature, but in the eye. He jumped to attacked it and got its throat easily when it reared up from its eye getting hit. When Kuro landed softly on the floor he quickly went over to stand next to Dawn.
The figure went to attack Dawn but Kuro got in front of her and blocked the attack easily. The hood of the figure made a shadow on his face so they couldn't see it.

She scowls, ripping her dagger out of its eye. She takes a good chunk of eye as well, and flings the knife again, careful to aim around Kurochi.

Kuro glanced at Dawn and jumped out of the way so it could hit the target.
Darkness appeared around the dagger as it got closer to him. The darkness disappeared and the dagger dropped to the floor. The figure chuckled again. "Well. You seemed to kill my creature quickly. Not bad for a Ares boy and a Apollo girl." He said disappearing then reappearing next to the melting ice.
