As anyone who walked into the Apollo Cabin on this warm September day could see, Gail was bored. She lay in her bed and gazed at the ceiling, thinking while she's at it. She was really bored. So bored, Gail decided that this would be a good time to think about the law. Yes, the law. See, Gail has this beleif; if your bored, it's a good idea to think of something boring so you don't have to think about it later. Gail is a very strange person if you know her very well. Marriage, speeding, and burglury whizzed inside her mind. It wasn't a pleasent thing to think about. In fact, Gail thaught she was going to die in that bed. No, not of hunger or thirst, but of boredom.

Gail sat up. "Huh? Oh, hi Summer. I was just doing nothing. As usual." Gail let out a large yawn and plopped down in bed again.

She pushes open the door, and curls up on her bed. She is awake though, and looks at the other girls. "Hi."

I noticed Dawn and a smile crept onto my face. "I saw you the other night." "

"When?" she asks. "There are lots of nights, you know." She notes Summer's smug grin. "What?"

Gail sighed. "Of coarse you saw her, Summer! We hardly ever go a day without seeing eachother."

"Oh, that night." At the mention of the boy, a small smile creeps onto her face.

She looks at Dawn. Gail was now hanging upside-down. "You love him, Dawn?"

"I do." she answers simply, looking at Gail's inverted figure. She feels no twinge of regret. Why should she? It's the truth, spoken to good friends, one of whom is her half-sister.

"And you're lucky to have him. He and his brother are so...ah, what's the word...mysterious, I guess."

"Not once you get to know 'em. They've been through a lot, so it takes a while to earn their trust."
