Elaine quickly avoided gnarled vines and roots of the strawberry plants as she delicately picked the delicious little fruits off their cozy vines. She plopped a big one into a small basket she had brought with her. These strawberries would make a delicious treat to many. That is,if she had anyone to share them with. She smiled her troubles away and continued to pick strawberries,humming a tune as she did so.

Dawn walks through the field, wonderng why there would be a strawberry patch out in the middle of nowhere. She looks up, scanning the horizon for her pegasus, Shadow. Her gaze lands on Elaine, so, naturally, she calls out. "Hello."

A white haired boy with a black blindfold was walking around.
Kiyo was walking next to him. He looked up as Dawn yelled hello to Elaine.
Kuro was farther behind them reading a book calmly. For once he wore glasses as he read.

Elaine,hearing the girls voice,turned around quickly with a cheerful expression on her face. "Hello there!"she replied back. She quickly sprinted over to the girl."So,what brings you here?" She gazed around,her eyes resting on the boy with the blindfold. Why would he be wearing that? she thought curiously. He gaze shifted over to Kiyo,who seemed to have noticed Dawn's holler. Then lastly her gaze noticed the boy with the book. She wondered why he chose a strawberry field to read in,but figured he must have went with the other two and just had happened to lag behind due to his reading. Waving at Kiyo,she turned her attention back to Dawn."Oh yeah,I'm Elaine by the way."

"I'm Dawn. I've never been here before, and I was wondering what it was." She stoops to pluck a strawberry from the ground. "I guess I found out. What brings you to Long Island?"

"Nice to meet you Dawn." After a chuckle,she pulled out a strawberry and examined it while saying,"Oh,my pet guided me here." She sighed and her voice grew sadder."Said that I would have a better life here than with my stepmother and my father." She put the fruit back in her basket and took out another,examining that one as well.

I landed with a thud as I fell off my pegasus and landed in the strawberry fields. I cursed in ancient greek and sat up. I was covered in strawberry stains.

Kiyo waved to Elaine calmly. "Hey Dawn!" He yelled to her calmly.
Kuro looked up from his reading and saw Dawn talking to someone and Summer. He closed his book and walked over to them forgetting his glasses where on. "Hey Dawn." He said smiling at her.
The boy with white hair followed Kuro and Kiyo as they walked over to Dawn and Elaine

She pondered over Dawn's question for a bit."Hmm..Well..." She sighed sadly."I don't really remember. I was little,so..." She looked to the boys,not bothering to finish her sentence."Oh,you know them?"she asked Dawn,hearing them call her name.
