I frowned-even with a Shape-Shifter, this thing was unbeatable! But...What about two Shape-shifters? I murmured a quick chant and there was a terrible pain in my back as large, feathered wings shot out of it. My hands moved and writhed until they were talons, and my feet ached horribly until they were hooves. Soon, the pain was gone, and I was a Hippogriff. I screeched a war cry and flew into the air, then dive bombing the giant, sinking my claws into it's arm. It probably felt like a thorn to the creature, but it was good enough. I think I should stay in this form for a while, I'm not ready to face the pain right after the battle. I thought to myself.

Dawn stumbles out of the cave, knowing anything she does will just get in the way.
The giant swings a fist toward Willow, her knife-sharp talons only angering it more. It bellows again, then aims its other fist toward Kuro.

The fist caught one of my rear legs, and I screeched. This angered me greatly, and I pecked at one of it's eyes, but I could feel blood running down my leg.

A loud roar tumbles out of the slash of a mouth set into the beast's face. It swats again at Willow, shaking its heavy head as if that would ease the pain.

It hits the same leg that it got last time. I was angry, more angry then ever. Why can't I ever be sad when I want to?? I thought, and quick as a shadow, pecked out his eye. I directed my thoughts at Dawn, You okay?

Kuro quickly dodged the attack and went from behind, sinking his talons and sharp teeth into the giants neck and back. He had locked his jaw into place as blue fire slipped through his teeth. Fire went directly into the cuts he gave the giant. Some blood dripped from his mouth, soaking the sand with the dark red liquid.
A black horse with a silver flames mane and tail ran up to Dawn quickly. It looked like a Arabian unlike what Kuro looked like in his horse form. "Let me get you out of here." The horse thought to Dawn, he knew she was hurt.

Grumbling about broken leg..I wonder what dad would say to this. I squawked as if laughing, but it sounded haughty and battle worn-a laugh all should fear. Cool laugh.. I thought, and ran as fast as I could{even with a broken leg} and launched myself into the air once more. Then, my leg hurt as if a fire had taken it off. I squawked in an annoyed tone, and attacked the creature, this time taking out it's other eye. Now it was blind. I flew to the ground and inspected my horse leg. I dug my talons into where it was hurting, and pulled. They came out, and a bone came with it. I screeched in pain, but threw my bone to the side, and attacked the monster again, weak-but powerful.

Dawn nods shakily. The blood loss paired with the bump on her head makes even the relatively light weight of Aesis extremely heavy in her hands. Thank you. she thinks back, clambering onto Kiyo's back.
The Giant howls again, now swinging blindly through the air, the pain from its wounds slowly working toward its small brain.

I sigh in pain and in relief, and lend onto the giant's thrashing head, digging my talons into it, trying to make the pain get to it faster. How long does it take to kill a Laestrygonian Ginat? I asked, directing my thoughts to Kuro.

The beat bellows swatting madly at its head, aiming for Willow. Finally, it seems to notice Kuro-the-dragon clinging to its back. It spins in rickety circles, trying to get a good look. Giving up, it slams backwards into a wall in hopes that its weight will crush the dragon.

(Kiyo: um... that ain't a Pegasus... its Kiyo in horse form.... Kuro: *chuckles*)
'I don't know but this is getting annoying...' Kuro thought back. When the giant smashed him against the wall he bit deeper and harder then before. Rage showed in his eyes and he started to pull away with a mouth dull of the giant.
The horse quickly turned around and cantered away. He shivered when he saw Willow get hurt but shrugged it off slightly.

(Sighness… I get confused easily. And I'm just stupid sometimes. Grr… Stupid blondness… I'll edit it.) "She'll be fine." Dawn says to Kiyo, knowing Willow's strong enough to overcome the pain.
The Lastrygonian stumbles, but still does not die. It twirls madly, almost ballerina-like, except for the whole mythological creature bit.

I look at Dawn and Kiyo, then say to Kuro, I am sooo stupid. Then I dived down and sank my claws into the creature's chest, and attempting to rip out it's heart. I felt something, and pulled. A heart came out and I smiled, then crushed it.

Kuro roared victoriously for Willow. 'Great job..' He said slightly panting. His wings where pressed against his body, he could feel something popping out of the skin. He looked at his back and grumbled to himself seeing three fairly large rocks in his back. He moved slightly and made the wounds hurt like hell. He shook his head. 'Hey Willow... Do you mind taking these out?' He asked looking at her.
Kiyo nickered softly. 'Ya i know... Its just.... I have a feeling that spell took a lot out of her...' He thought to her.

It probably did, she agrees. but it's over now. I just wish I could have helped more. She knows it is dead, and it's as if a weight is lifted off of her shoulders. But a new one is there, just waiting to be unlocked.

Sure! I fly up and pick out every rock. I fly to the ground again and waited for the pain to come back. And it struck like lightning, Ha.

Kuro clenched his teeth tightly and closed his eyes when Willow took out the rocks. He opened his eyes and looked to her. "Lets get to the camp right away before we shift back into our human selves..." He said shaking his head.
Kiyo nodded lightly. "I wish i could do more as well but its hard..." He said glancing to Dawn. He could see her in the corner of his eye.
