I stopped at my cabin to grab my parka and my boots, then raced to the ocean. Being in Crystal's cabin, I almost forgot about Erebus and his offer. I walked on the shore, waiting for him.

Crystal folllowed Summer to the ocean, peeking from behind a random tree. Eh. It wouldn't mind. Summer was standing by the shore, looking like she was waiting for something.

The air next to me shimmered, and you could make out the faint outline of a ghost. "You're here." I breathed silently. "Yes." The ghost said. "It feels nice to be in human form again, even if I could get blown away from the wind." The ghost stopped. "Did I just say that out loud? Nevermind. Well?"

Crystal had a bad feeling about this and was deliberating whether to burst out and stop Summer or just let her do what she wanted.

"Sorta-no-I mean, I didn't mean to but-" She stopped trying to explain herself. Technically, she had been spying on Summer, but only because all her instincts screamed that Summer was making a terrible desicion.

"Don't listen to him." Crystal said instead of trying to defend herself against eavesdropping. "Whatever he said. It's not right. I don't care that I barely heard anything, I just know it's not right." She insisted louder, using her best persuasive voice. Worked on almost everyone. Actually, everyone she'd tried it on except her own mom...

Crystal let out a low growl. Sure, she had no idea who the shadow dude was but she didn't care. "I was right when I just told Summer not to listen to you."

"Alright, then" Crystal continued, fighting the urge to blast the ocean at the spirit dude even though she was pretty sure it would have no affect, "DON'T LISTEN TO THE **** *** *** OF A SPIRIT!" Crystal retorted, holding back her full voice but still yelling angrily. Which, seeing she'd just been yelling in Ancinet Greek, probably just made the spirit/shadow/ghost/whateveryouwannacallit more angrier.
