Blaze walked into the armory "Hello, I'm looking for a Hephaestus kid. I was wondering if they could teach me make a bow and arrow." she looked unsure as she walked through the cabin. His red italian leather capris were clean, and she wore a white aeropostale tee-shirt. Her black leather boots matched her black leather jacket. She looked like a black haired-blue eyes, girl version of her father. She looked like she was ready to ride a motorcycle.

"Bow and arrow?" A cheerful blonde looks up from a map she was studying, her face smeared with grime. "I bet I can help with that. Tillie Antaie, Daughter of Hephaestus."

Dakota walked into the armory, where she knew she would find Tillie. Currently she was in wolf form.

"Hey, Dakota. Need help with somethin'?" She instantly recognizes her friend as a wolf and flashes her a smile.

With in a second she was a human again. "Hello!" she smiled. "No I just like watching you make stuff." she laughed.

"Alright." she laughs, "But I'm afraid I'm not being very interesting at the moment." For once, her forges are still, the silence of the room only broken by a stereo plugged into Tillie's iPod. Losing My Religion by R.E.M thrums softly out of the speakers.

Dakota smiled, "Okay.' she said. "But i'm still staying." she added with a small laugh.

"I don't mind the company." Tillie shrugs, then frowns down at her map. "Camp really needs some trenches, or trip wires, or something. It's just so… Unprotected."

"Alrighty, Blaze. Ready to get to it?" Standing up, she flicks off the stereo and runs her hands through her messy hair.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. First thing is whether you want a wooden bow or composite. Wood is more traditional, and has a bit more strength behind the shot, but composite is lighter, and more durable."

She kocked her head to a side "Uhhh, I guess what ever is best for running, and shooting at the same time?" she said unsure

"I'd guess a composite bow then. Better for slinging over your shoulder and forgetting about." Tillie walks over to a rack and pulls off a slab of the material.

"Ok," she nods "So what do we do now?" she asks

"First, you're gonna take this," She hands a knife to Blaze, "and cut the material to the right length. I can't really help you there- it's all about preference."

I heard Tillie's words as I flew past. I came into the door. "The camp is defended well. Have you missed the dragon?"

"Dragon?" she says, puzzled, "And if it's so well defended, how come I was able to just waltz in?"
