Lilly walked into the stables smiling brightly, making her flash her fangs. "I guess I kinda miss home... a pegasus could help with that." lilly used to ride horses at home.

"Whoa!" Lightning came soaring down from the sky, heading straight for the stables. I finally yanked her to a stop before she could crash, and flew off of her. "Hey. Who are you?" I sighed to myself. "I'm just going to practice my flying skills now."

Crystal walked in to get Stardust. Again. Hey, so she liked pegasi. Live with it. She was a daughter of Poseidon, after all. After tugging Stardust out of her stall, Crystal got a brush and started to brush her pegasus's mane ignoring her comments.
"HEY!" and "I'MMA GONNA DUMP YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DINING PAVILLION IF YOU DON'T STOP BRUSHING ME!" and "NEIGGHHHGAH!!!!!" The last one was just an annoyed cross between a shout and a whinney.
